★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed, got my daughter in however took me an hour to sign in and get myself on the waiting list. When I got to the door they couldn't find my name just my daughter was able to get in, I told them I just wanted to sit on the side and watch my daughter. What a waste of time!!! They said it is confusing sometimes when you do your reservation by the website and that it is better to call. So then why use the website??? Just so everyone knows, save yourselves some time and double confirm by phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not open at this time of the year, but it's a great outdoor pool when open. Well maintained. The park itself has baseball diamonds, community area for youth, a little water park for the kids, an off-leash park for dogs and there is a lawn bowling Club there as well... I think there is a geriatric community center as well not sure about that though. Picnic tables picnic areas lots of trees and open space, nice park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This pool is absolutely wonderful and fun. I have been going there for a few summers now and my children just love to swim there! I find the staff to be very helpful although the age gap thing is a little difficult to be in arms reach especially if the child is a really good swimmer. I have never had any issues though. It would be nice if we could be allowd to atleast bring in some fruits to eat over the summer. But do understand certain pools have certain rules. Over all we all had a great time and will definitely go again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't regularly spend time at the pool, but when a friends child has a birthday party, I'm often required to participate. I understand that rules of the pool are meant to keep kids safe but it's getting to the point of ridiculousness. On 3 separate occasions, young lifeguards barking pool rules at me. Twice because I'm supposed to be within arms reach of my child when he is wearing a life jacket. Apparently 10 ft is too far away. The problem was that I was trying to look after 2 of my kids. 1 with special needs 9yr old , and the other a healthy 6 yr old. Just try to spend an hour at the pool and stay within 10 ft of both kids at all times at a birthday party... let alone an arms length You've got to be kidding me!!!!! The other time I got barked at was when my 6yr old wanted to ride on my shoulders in the pool. Fair enough. But I'm starting to become annoyed with all the things you can't do anymore.. such and metal slides, merry-go-rounds and bouncy castles. Want kids to be 100% safe?.... stay out of the damn pool altogether. Pathetic. All of this was in the shallow end of the pool btw. Apparently, you can't even go to the deep end unless you prove that you've passed swimming lessons. Despite the annoyance of all this, I have to admit that the pool itself is fairly nice, and seems to have some ability for wheelchair users to role into the pool, although I didn't see any pool wheelchairs around. The facilities were spacious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Death trap for local pets when not in operation, the cat next door drowned in the pool during off season due to falling in and not being able to get out as the only water in was a few feet in the deep end with no way to climb out, a float or pump wold prevent this….
This happened a few years back and I was waiting to see if they’d add preventatives before adding comment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can't swim in a lane when on general public hours. They have swimming lessons and then you have 3x25m proper lanes. Staff is friendly, washrooms are clean and tidy. The same pool works for toddlers and adults, good design keeping everybody safe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pool is great, I am so glad they have opened it up with CGP now permanently closed. Lanes are a touch short so it makes it look like you swim way faster on Strava. Lifeguards and staff are friendly and helpful 9/10 times
