★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Montreal Mayor, your parking system is overcomplicated for tourists. We came to spend money and visit around, and were fined 62 Dollars for parking. Sign was hidden and in French only. Applies only to Thursday 7am to 8am. This is a business, not a fair parking system. Wont reccommend Montreal. (Try to find the sign in my pic!!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a knock on city hall, but the cab/taxi drivers are terrible in the city. Will try and rob you blind, often drive in circles, always take a crazy long route.
They will lie and say their from somewhere else so if you get them in trouble it's the wrong person.
Even when you catch then In lies, they will continue the lie. Not even an attempt to apologize. Terrible environment.... get a rental and drive around as the ride share apps might be just as bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning architecture outside and inside the City Hall. The legislative council room is also open for viewing (you can peek in over the red barrier) and I learned about Montréal’s political history from the exhibits in the lobby and looked at some items that have been salvaged from time.
