★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coop membership fee is only $50. I recently joined the coop so that I can be part of supporting the local agricultural community. Local food is sustainable, folks! We get pork, chicken, beef raised humanely and with GMO free feeds. Chicken eggs? ditto.
I bought great produce, organic meat, lots of beans, and local organic hazelnuts for around $20. You cannot beat that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Co-op focuses on supporting local farmers and growers, non-GMO and organic, there is a large selection of both gluten free and vegan products, it is mostly volunteer run, which keeps the costs for groceries down. When in Lumby it is definitely my "go to" spot for groceries!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great people, great products! Everything you need, right here in Lumby. Local, Organic, Vegan, Gluten Free, and Non-GMO! Everything from local fruits and veggies, eggs, yogurt and cheese, baked goods, pasta, beans, rice, and healthy junk food!! Naturally raised beef, chicken and sustainably sourced Salmon from First Nations in Tofino. Love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never has a community tried harder to keep a community grocery store going! It's pricey but for a rural community they have stuff from all over the world and it's all organic! All of my groceries come from here except for that that they cannot Supply which is rare. They have awesome salmon and halibut and grass-fed pork and beef. We have some of the best Food suppliers anywhere in this Valley. Really really great combination of people and effort
