So that being said I suggest to anyone to double check your taxes. It wouldn't hurt and doesn't take long. A simple mistake with a simple correction could save you money down the road. It surely would have saved my family member alot of time, money and stress. Doesn't matter where you get your paperwork done. If you haven't sat down with anyone or someone doesn't show you how the numbers work. I suggest going over them.
Alright so I am doing this on the behalf of a family member because it actually made me really mad.
After so many yr of paying over the top fees for this business to do a simple tax return my family member was struck down with a major penalty after minimal 7 yrs from CRA. my family member had called in and asked why this wasn't caught after so many yrs of doing business with them. MNP response.....you signed on the line. This family member NEVER seen an actual accountant and or really never spoke with them.
So how come after sooooo many yrs this company has made this mistake they wouldn't help to fix it.
Granted had this individual knew how to do taxes or any average Joe MNP wouldn't be so big or busy because that would mean more individuals would know what they are doing for their own tax papers. Just rude that a company who charges so much and talks about how they can be trusted just wouldn't help.
