More cities need an area like this for the little ones. Well maintained from spring to fall

Mediocre little pond with short trail around it. Some cute ducks that follow you around, signs exist to remind you to not feed them. A couple of benches along the trail. There is a porta potty and maybe 4 parking spots. Didn’t see any turtles when we went. Small fountain in the water.

The Regional District Central Okanagan’s Go Fish! program is at Mission Creek and Shannon Lake Regional Parks every Saturday Sunday through June 19. Children can try their luck at catching fish in the pond at the Hall Road entrance to Mission Creek and Shannon Lake, which are stocked with trout. great place to teach your kids how to fish..Ive seen 12" to 16" fish caught here! There are trails behind the pond that take about 30 minutes to hike down to Mission Creek Park on Springfield rd
