The Assiniboine Gordon Inn on the Park

Located in sunny St James, just west of downtown Winnipeg at 1975 Portage Avenue. (Portage & Albany). The hotel overlooks beautiful Bruce Park & just a short walk to Assiniboine Park. The Assiniboine Gordon is conveniently located close to the James Richardson International Airport (5kms), downtown Winnipeg & the Canada Life Center where the Winnipeg Jets play (8kms), Winnipeg’€™s largest shopping center Polo Park (3kms) and a short drive (5kms) from IKEA for your shopping pleasure.

The Assiniboine Gordon specializes in hosting fund raising events for local teams, and charity events for local community organizations. The Curtis Gordon Motor Hotel

Located in Winnipeg’€™s north east quadrant of the city, at 1011 Henderson Highway. The Curtis Gordon is conveniently located to downtown Winnipeg, Concert Hall, Canada Life Center, & downtown shopping at City Place. (4-6kms).

The Curtis offers 25 rooms for the budget minded traveller. The Curtis Gordon offers one of Winnipeg finest beverage facilities, Henderson Draft House which has 11 types of draft beer.  Henderson Draft House has 26 HD televisions including a 10 ft x 6 ft big screen for major sporting events. A beautiful cozy fire place to analyze the big game or simply kick back & relax with friends.

Needs to bring in more young people. I like the place, but everyone my age (20s) in St James, never actually goes in there, minus VLT's. Maybe throw on a rave, or something?

Live bands make it hard to sit with a drink and visit. Table severe leaves much to be desired. Having said that it was clean and the clients of this establishment were not a rowdy bunch and the establishment provided ample visible security.
