★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dale said “I had the unfortunate experience of a large rock coming off of the top of a Mike Vail gravel truck hitting my windshield on Springbank road in June 2021. It caused huge damage. I have been trying to speak to someone at Mike Vail trucking ever since. I have left numerous messages with dispatch for their safety manager. I have called Calgary Ring road managers. Not one single call returned from Mike Vail trucking. This is not how to run a business IMO. I would have thought community relations would be more important.”
This very true. I experienced the same thing this month (sept), i call them all the time about fixing my car and lying is all they know. May God forgive them for demaging other people’s cars and not take responsibility. May God bless their business and remind them that community relations is important.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was driving on deerfoot going north and one of there trucks shot 4 rocks at my windshield. This caused huge cracks right in the line of vision. I have phoned and left an email and of course no response in over a couple of months. Would be nice if there safety group actually followed up on these incidents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seen one of their trucks casually doing 100-105km on the Crowchild which is 80km. Passing people, tail gating them, then cuts over two lanes to exit. Never once reducing speed. Real hero. You’re going to kill someone.

As soon as I wrote the review they called and denied the truck was hauling gravel.

The management team and dispatch are so friendly and approachable. Courtney did my intake and she is thorough and has an amaIng sence of humor too. She made all the paper work a breeze. I was given everything I needed for work and wow the trucks are so well taken care of. No old broken equipment, it's all new and well taken care of.
As a woman driver I would have to say I would recommend any woman to work here. It's a safe, enjoyable workplace.
Everyone from mechanics I met to drivers who have been showing me the ropes. Dispatch to management. All get my big thumbs up. ?
