About Midwest Propane
In October 2006, we opened a second office location in Rimbey, Alberta in order to provide more local services in that region of the province. This office is managed by Owen Porte.
Owen has an extensive background and has held many leadership positions in the propane industry. He started working for Cal Gas Propane from 2006 until they were acquired by Canwest Propane in 2014. He managed Canwest Propane’s Rimbey and Drayton Valley locations from 2014 until they were sold to Superior Propane in 2017. Owen Left Superior Propane in 2018 to continue his career in the propane industry with Midwest Propane Ltd. Now managing our Rimbey location he looks forward to many years working with Wyatt as Midwest continues to grow and serve it’s customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over and above service from them. 13 years ago when I moved to my acreage and ran out of propane on a Sunday, they came no questions ask and helped me out. Today we had our garage fire that caused our propane tank to burn and were stranded with no heat or hot water. They came immediately to give us a temporary solution until we can get a new tank in. I have used them all these years and never had any issues. They will match anyone’s prices and the staff is excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I first called to book rental equipment I was given false information. Also if you rent on a long weekend Saturday they charge you for two days! You don't have the choice for one day because they're not even open! I I wasn't told that on the phone, so when I got there already to start this project it was hard to say no... just made me really angry! Staff said "management rules". And the equipment wasn't even checked, the guy fired up the auger as we were hooking it up to my vehicle. Good thing it started, sounded like since before winter! It ran okay, but seemed very under powered especially with the 12" bit. To top it off I forgot to fill the 3L gas before I brought it back?. The bill was like $220.. what a joke.. I'll never be back there again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good rental experience. Easy to deal with to book their aerator, and happy to note was not charged for Sunday when they aren't open for a return. Pickup and return was a breeze, staff all capable and friendly.
