★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Engine light came on mid-trip. They took me as a drop-in off the highway and set me up with a diagnostic right away. Ended up being just an O2 sensor, but they cleaned it, blew out the air filter, and reset the engine light. Friendly, fast, and professional service. Thanks for taking time out of your day to get me back on the road with my mind at ease; much appreciated!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We broke down on a Saturday east of Revelstoke and got towed in. On Monday morning, Mick was the only shop in town who could/would fit us in. He came to our hotel and diagnosed the issue (alternator as I suspected) and gave me a boost which was enough to get me to the shop. Before the end of the day, he had it fixed and we were on our way again.
There was a rush surcharge but it was cheaper than another night or more in a hotel when we had free places to stay lined up further on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a camping trip, my van started having issues and needed to be looked at. We called every single shop in Revelstoke plus some in other cities, but everyone was full until the following week at the earliest.
Mick graciously said he’d squeeze us in and take a look to at least let us know what was going on and what needed to be fixed. After looking and identifying the issue he said he would stay late that evening, a Friday, to fix it. Truly a customer-first experience. Thanks to Mick and Tanya for saving our trip!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our Eurovan break down just 2 km's outside of Revelstoke just as Mick's Mechanic was closing for the day. Thankfully Mick answered the phone, he came out to the Eurovan with his own towing vehicle and brought the Van back to his shop that evening. Diagnosed the problem, fixed it the following morning, and the Eurovan was back on the road all before noon. Thank you very much Mick and Staff for your awesome service and expediency in fixing the issue. Highly recommend this shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They did a great job on our vehicle, got us in on a Saturday to diagnose the issue and they were able to book us in the following Tuesday. The project took longer then expected due to issue with parts store and lack of second mechanic for out calls. I will definitely use micks r mechanical for my suvs repairs and maintenance.

Very dependable was able to make my way bck home safe. Shop clerk Tanya was also very considerate and helpful. I was very lucky to have met them. Would recommend to anyone!
