I like the salon location and that I usually can book in for a service without too much advance notice. My last hair cut was fine, however I find the staff so cold and the atmosphere feels quite judgemental. Some of the stylist can be a bit warmer, but it’s a feeling you get from the receptionists the moment you walk in. I usually feel quite uncomfortable being there, but still go out out of convenience. I have never had a good experience with colour as the blonde that I have asked for always turns out dull, and barely looks like a service has been provided, even though I’m dropping $200-$300. I tried a few different colour technicians, but still found the same thing, so I will not be getting my hair coloured there anymore.

I got an appointment with Level 3 stylists but did not feel like that. The stylist was aggressive/rushing while washing my hair and was anything but relaxing. As she was cutting my hair, she kept dropping her scissors and she hit me in the head while blow drying my hair. After that, she finished blow drying my hair and wanted to just left it, I had to really advocate that I wanted my hair curled. Overall, I felt like I was at Great Clips and not at Spa.
N	Nirvona Soraya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very interesting experience at Michaud's that I feel is important to share in order to perhaps better prepare someone that might find themselves in a similar situation. I am Persian and thus have very, very thick hair. It has taken some time, but I have come to love both the texture and thickness of my hair. I recently went to get a cut at Michaud's and although the stylist (Theresa) did a good job of the cut itself. While my vision was obscured, she began to aggressively thin out my hair using thinning shears and by the time I noticed, it was too late to ask her to stop. Thinning out someones hair is something that should always require consent. It should never happen without asking the client first. If you are planning on visiting Michaud's ensure that you are very clear on what you are and are not comfortable with before the stylist starts your treatment.
