MHSA HISTORY
The Manufacturers' Health & Safety Association (MHSA) was formed in 1992 at the request of the metal fabricating industry in order to reduce injuries in the steel fabricating industry.
The MHSA was originally the Metal Fabricating Health & Safety Association. The name was changed in late 1999 to allow companies in the entire manufacturing sector to have an association they could work with regarding occupational health & safety and Workers' Compensation issues.
The MHSA is funded through a levy on the companies Alberta Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) premium assessment. The Association has been involved in the Partners in Injury Reduction Program since 1994.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to book a course, was transfered and the call dropped, I thought maybe its the cell line? Called again from landlines and was transfered again but the line went dead, called a third time again line went dead waiting for transfered.
Really how do you stay in business when your phone systems don't work ?

MHSA has always provide myself and member companies with support, advise, guidance and exceptional training that can be expected out of a top notch facility. I am proud to say that I am part of a team that we are continuing to work diligently with our industries and are excited about the changes, growth and experienced advisors we have on our team to meet members needs.

Everyone at MHSA has so much experience, they're so kind and friendly, so knowledgeable and patient. I get excited when I have to go in for a course. I still like the in person interaction so I'm glad they still have that option. Jessie is an amazing instructor how she can explain the subject thoroughly, provide amazing examples, can answer practically all of our questions. And the energy she brings into the classroom, you know you'll have a great day learning with her. I feel so comfortable, knowing I can call or email a safety coordinator and I know they can help me and know they will respond fairly quick. Keep up the great work MHSA !

We obtained a lot of priceless tips he shared from his own experience. Highly recommend John Duncan like the most professional forklift instructor.

I feel like I have been more then adequately prepared to take on any health and safety challenges ahead. I highly recommend being trained by John Duncan for forklift operation. Really amazing teacher who pairs real life training with practical legislative application. Highly recommend to anyone who may be thinking of a future in safety or just needing some refresher courses.
