Metropolitan Property Management

I am appalled by some of the comments made with regards to Rheanna Sidhu. We have been working with her for a year now. She has had to deal not only with a relatively new council but also with a few owners who feel it is their right to write belittle council and management alike. Through all of this she has maintained her cool and responded with tact and patience. We are fortunate to be working with such a knowledgeable and helpful property manager.

I don't really write reviews, but in the case of Metropolitan and Rheanna Sidhu, I have the civic duty to warn other strata councils and condo owners to avoid Rheanna and Metropolitan at all costs. And just to make it clear to everyone, there is no Metropolitan Property Mgmt! Rheanna is Metropolitan and Metropolitan is just another name for Rheanna. We hired this company / lady as our strata manager and this has been absolutely the worst decision not only in the history of our strata corporation, but I'm fairly confident that no other strata corporation has made an equally terrible, let alone worse decision. I'm a physician and to make it short, I'm going to resort to a metaphorical exercise to share our experience. Unfortunately hiring Metropolitan and Rheanna is like ending up being diagnosed with cancer and a severe STI/STD at the same time. At the beginning you will not suspect anything as there are no symptoms, but then when things start to unravel you realize how critical, painful and costly your situation is. Since hired, this lady and company have managed to inflict on our strata more harm than can be undone. In less than a year with Metropolitan and Rheanna at the helm of our strata, hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent without authorization, the property has been reduced to a filthy slum where nothing is being done anymore, renters are moving out and a considerable number of owners put their property on the market out of desperation. Words would not do justice to express what a horrible condition our strata has been put into after the hiring of Metropolitan and Rheanna. Getting rid of them is no worse than curing cancer and getting rid of a venereal disease/infection...difficult, very painful, extremely costly and putting the patient's life at extreme risk. To all the strata owners and councils: DO NOT hire or do any business with these horrible, manipulative, greedy and unscrupulous crooks!

I am an owner of several investment properties, and am particularly fond of the work that Rheanna has been able to provide. Her dedication and strata management techniques set her apart-she’s a pleasure to deal with. Rheanna has led a lot of renovations for our property, and they always came in under budget-not once did we need a special assessment in the 5 years I’ve been an owner there. Her knowledge of construction and renovations really shows. I was always thrilled with the ongoing improvements within the strata corporation. The safety, cleanliness and overall curb appeal improved drastically while Rheanna was our Strata Manager. The value of our condos even increased and I will give most of the credit to Rheanna.

Someone made my review disappeared. I am not a computer guru but but I can post again. My family owns multiple strata properties and Metropolitan Property Management provides strata management services to one of these properties. Compared with other strata management companies, Metropolitan is one of the best strata management companies we have ever dealt with, and Ms. Rheanna Sidhu of Metropolitan is the best strata manager we have ever had. Rheanna is an exceptional strata manager with integrity and honesty. Her professionalism, accountability, and years of experience in strata management have helped us owners solve many difficult problems and have ensured the strata to operate in a healthy, cost-effective, and lawful way. Rheanna is a strata manager that strata owners can really trust and rely on. She is a great listener, very patient, and always willing to help. She pays attention to detail, and promptly communicates to owners with transparency and clarity. As owners we feel fortunate to have Rheanna as our strata manager and do not hesitate to recommend Rheanna and Metropolitan to any strata properties.

Metro and Rheanna, in particular are well informed, well connected and responsive to various situations that arise in a Strata setting. Although the office access and return contact was not always as quick as I sometimes wished, the attitude was very professional. Rheanna provided critical information and advice that helped our strata cope with many challenges. She is highly knowledgeable and devoted to her duties as Property Manager. As a former member of the council, I felt confident in all the areas she handled for our complex. Due to her efforts and encouragement, we are on our way to modernizing and updating our Bylaws after many years. Thanks for a great job Rheanna!

We have thoroughly enjoyed every interaction with Metropolitan Property Management, and particularly Rheanna and Joane! They are always quick to reply, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. You are in good hands with Metropolitan PM.

Where to start with this horrible company. They lie , They don't answer their phones and contradict themselves on both answering machine AND email.. Phone: "Sorry I'm home sick today" Email: " I'm on vacation this week" When you go in to confront them, because nobody answers the phone (look at previous reviews.. IT'S TRUE!) Daryl will smile and nod , but then tell you a different story 3 days later in an email then when he told you in person. My mom hit a snag in selling her townhome , and metropolitan told her to stop. They delayed the sale of her home 7 weeks by not answering emails in a timely manner. When I told Rheanna that my moms Reverse mortgage debt was in-crewing interest by the day .... her response time declined further. From once a week.... To waiting close to 9 days for a response. They clearly don't care about people. They didn't care about my mom. They didn't care about helping her. Very weird that when the Notary contacted them about paying out her lien Rheanna got back to the Notary within 2 business days. So when they want to get paid, they won't be "at home sick" and they answer calls. When they have to be personable and solve problems , They will avoid you at all costs. Avoid this Strata management company AT ALL COSTS. Doesn't matter if it's residential or commercial...... They lie, they are dishonest , and they 't do incredibly dishonest business practices. If you think I'm lying , I have a lot of evidence to back up my side. I will provide it to anyone that asks.

After having lived in other complexes and experiencing the lack of knowledge and high turnover of property management staff, I am happy to have come into a complex with a property manager who knows their stuff. Rheanna has been very pleasant to deal with and helpful in guiding us to have our needs met.
