★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Metro on Royal York. It has 3 stars because its small and doesnt have variety.
I went to this location looking for crunchy almond nougat. Website shows Metro carries this but not all Metros carry it. I will have to go to Metro at Keele and Lawrence to get it.
I did enjoy the VERY fresh baked items. I bought almond croissants and I hope they're just as delicious as the apple turnovers that I bought. I would definitely return for the baked items!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great store. Lots of fresh produce and meat etc. The bakery has a great selection and I love the hot table. The staff are friendly and there is lots of parking too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small Metro and usually busy - wait times are long for the deli counter. I needed to return an expired product that I bought the day prior and the lady at Customer Service gave me a super hard time. Not a fan of this location at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to shop in Liberty Village Metro and was pleasantly surprised when I moved to Etobicoke and found out that there was a branch of the supermarket close to my new home. Smaller but well stocked, I shop there and love the cheese and bakery selection in this branch! Great service and quality, the store is clean and well organized.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small Metro in the neighborhood but it's nice to have one. Couple of times I picked up a cake at this location. Customer service at the bakery is terrible. Made people wait unreasonably. Staff at the deli shop ignores you though they obviousbly see you waiting and does nothing to call the bakery staff. Needs more training in terms of good customer service. The lady at the customer service booth is nice the last time I went there. So it's up to you if you can tolerate inconsistency in terms of service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very busy yet had everything I needed! Ice cream hubby likes on sale, flowers for my mum! Cashier just started and sent me to her. Bright star to my day. Wrapped flowers perfectly. Have been coming to this Metro since the 1960's. Went to school down the street too. Very friendly staff
