I was in the process of getting my groceries paid for at the check outs when o noticed the bag of Cracker Barrel shredded cheese came up at $7.99 when the sale showed $4.99. This shane was called to assist me and when he said he was going to “look into it” (took him an outrageous amount of time) he told me that the cheese that I had selected was in the wrong spot and that it was most likely just dropped there. This shouldn’t be happening if he would actually be doing his job and making sure product is in the correct place. After attempting to tell him this he told me to “have a nice day”. How disgusting. It should also be noted that later in the night he was talking for an excessive amount of time with another worker in the office area at customer service centre.

R	Rose Teasdale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have a couple of issues currently with this store. Firstly, the Covid announcements in store need to be reviewed or discontinued. After 2 years we are all well aware of what to do. Being reminded every 15 minutes is overkill. Secondly, the signage for Ukrainian war relief is offensive. Canadians have seen a rise of inflation to the point many can't afford decent food for their own families! You are not running a charity and the usage of these funds are unclear at best.

L	Lucie Langevin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Metro in Pembroke is a perfect grocery. It is clean, organized and the staff is always helpful. The shelves are well stocked. One thing that I do not like is for example, 2 for $7.00 or 3 for $10.00. I live alone therefore it is more costly when I only need one.
C	Cari Rakai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store has a great selection ? with slightly higher prices. We go often to pick up our parcels, so have gotten familiar. We always check if there are good deals in the produce, they usually have one or two good items on sale. Also have a really nice variety in the meat section. Try the store made sausages. Expensive, but a special favorite for a splurge. Another favorite is the cheesebread, if you want an easy potluck item. It looks weird to bring, but dissapears FAST with butter.
L	Liz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the drive up grocery pick up once you are done shopping. I'm not sure what it is called but you leave your bags inside, take a ticket and drive your car up. When I was pregnant it was so helpful and now with a little one it makes it so easy! I hope they keep this feature, I haven't seen it anywhere else. I usually like metro's options but sometimes find they don't have a few regular items I get at the Barry's Bay metro ex. Gluten free items are not carried there as much, like granola bars, tortilla wraps.
