★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service is appalling at this location and staff are rude. My son ordered an item ahead with credit card 3 times before they finally had it ready. I attempted to preorder metal and was told that I needed to come and order it and they would cut - I arrived just after 4 and no one answered phone for 10 minutes and was re routed to Mississauga store who actually answered. Eventually I reached someone who said even though they close at 4:30 no one could cut my 4 pieces of metal, but all of a sudden I could preorder and have it ready for pick up in the morning even though was told I couldn’t do this the day before. Had they accepted my preorder the day before the metal would have been cut and I could have saved then driving to Mississauga location who were amazing despite being close to closing. Avoid this location and go to Mississauga who were all polite and professional despite being close to closing and actually cared about taking my business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My main focus as a trades person is not metal fabricating, or welding. I'm a carpenter and deal with wood or woodfiber products, however I occasionally dabble in metal and welding. When I do, I always use metal supermarkets as the supplier for material. They're very convenient, as they cut what you need, when you need it, and have it all readily available.
If you're going to order from here, make sure you know exactly what you want, and how much you need. This place is very busy and if you want good service, you have to make sure you're not wasting people's time. - although that's just life advice.
One thing I will say, the invoice I received last order had the incorrect name on it which is a problem. I'll have to call in and have a new one emailed or picked up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needed a small piece of Aluminum stock to make a bracket (3x6x1/8th inches). Called. Can't allow people in to look in their scrap bin because of covid, but yes we can sort you out, we are super busy so sorry it might take a bit, but come over and call when you get here.
I went, got exactly what I needed. It didn't take long. And before this place I called others and they could not be bothered or call back at the end of the day. I get it, it's a tiny order to them, but I need it. So now I'll always go to Metal Supermarket. Thanks Tom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A God sent, if you're a "do it yourself" type of person and regardless of the project at hand you'll be happy a store like this exist.
Everyone's got a stove outlet, call an electrician to convert to a sub panel to plug a 240volts welding outlet and buy a long extension welding cord from "Princess Auto".
Get yourself a "MIG" welder (240V) and after an hour of practice your welding skill is adequate.
Now imagine the endless things you can do. ??
