C'est situé au 3e étage d'un édifice où l'on s'attend pas à trouver des trucs de yoga! J'y ai trouvé une mer de.. livres! Sur le yoga et d'autres thèmes reliés à l'humain. J'ai appelé avant de m'y rendre. Lee, de toute évidence anglophone, n'a utilisé que le français pour me parler - voilà qui n'est pas si commun dans ce coin du centre-ville. J'ai acheté un beau grand traversin et je suis repartie avec deux petits cadeaux! Bref, pas étonnant que je donne 5 étoiles. Pour le contenu de l'endroit (et les prix raisonnables), mais, surtout, pour l'excellent accueil. Ah, et si vous aimez l'anthropologie, je suis certaine que vous aurez une conversation intelligente et agréable avec Lee. I just stepped out of the place - never would have found without a recommendation from my yoga teacher! It's located on the 3rd floor of a building where you wouldn't expect to find yoga stuff! I found a sea of .. books there! On yoga and other human-related themes. I called before I got there. Lee, obviously an English speaker, only used French to talk to me - that's not that common in this downtown area. I bought a nice big bolster and I left with two small gifts! In short, no wonder I give 5 stars. For the content of the place (and the reasonable prices), but, above all, for the excellent reception. Ah, and if you're into anthropology, I'm sure you'll have a smart and enjoyable conversation with Lee.

Throughout my first sit on the bolster, I noticed a very strong and unpleasant odor coming off of it. I was unable to use it after my first sit as it was very distracting and the mouldy/mildewy smell rubbed off on any clothing or body part. Upon my return I called the shop to explain the situation, and that I would like to exchange it for another one. The person kurtly explained this was not possible and this type of unpleasant smell is normal for this product. The only solution proposed was to wash it myself. This was purchased at regular price and one expects that it is in a useable condition. I am thrilled a place like this exists in Montreal, it is a true gem but the manner in which this was handled reflects a business practice I do not align with and unfortunately, this lovely local shop has lost a client in me.

A bit small and crowded but that also makes its charm. Prices are insanely good, when I compare to Amazon they are usually 1$ cheaper, and I prefer giving my money to actual humans beings than huge multinational corporations which dodge taxes and thus don't contribute to society but just exploit it.
n	neeti s on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem of a bookstore!! Hidden deep within the historic Sternthal building in the heart of downtown. You can find many books here on spirituality, psychology, yoga, Buddhism etc. As well as yoga props, singing bowls and the like. Staff is really nice too

Very happy with my purchase. I will definitely come back for books. They also have all the yoga props that you find in yoga studios.
