Who We Are
The Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association represents the Regional Parks in Saskatchewan.The purpose of the SRPA is to assist the Regional Park Board members and staff. Some of the assistance is by research, education and providing information resources.
The SRPA performs as a liaison between government departments and the regional parks and lobbies on their behalf.
One convention is held each year for the purpose of education and networking for the delegates. The SRPA hosts a website for the regional parks and provides additional marketing through the production and distribution of The Regional Parks Guide, other print media and radio advertising.
Our Mission
To develop, maintain and promote a strong association of regional parks; to encourage the preservation of the natural beauty within our parks while ensuring healthy recreational and tourism opportunities and experiences; to foster entrepreneurial and new park development.
Our Vision
The SRPA to be recognized as a leader in the recreation field by being the governing body of a unified, self-sustainable, accountable system of regional parks; as visionaries, be an inspirational constituency promoting a safe place with excellent recreational opportunities while respecting our natural environment.
Our Policy
The Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association is the governing body of regional parks.
- The SRPA maintains an on-going commitment toward the development of regional parks through set standards and accreditations.
- The SRPA recognizes the diversity and collective strength of member parks.
- The SRPA provides informational resources and training in the following areas:
- Marketing opportunities
- Member Park Board development
- Staff Development
- The SRPA gathers information and uses this information to make sound governing, business, and membership services decisions.
- The SRPA fosters an effective and positive relationship with governments.
- The SRPA actively searches out avenues of funding for the:
- member parks.
- association.
- The SRPA fosters an increased level of communication and awareness with:
- public.
- governments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly clean, very close to the beach, coin operated showers were clean and $1 gave you plenty of time to get clean. Very well maintained, great firewood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great sites. Love that there is a ball diamond, and a couple of playgrounds. Next to golf course and close to the beach! Large group site is great for a reunion, or just a get together for friends. There is a camp kitchen available for rent as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this park, and I know it is policy, but make it more clear about extra tent, the way it was said to me on phone made it sound like you could have an extra tent without extra pay even if it wasn’t immediate family. Would be nice if there was a laundry room right at park. Other than that love the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem of a campground. Large stalls allow for lots of room to park. Limited on services (power only) but they have long lengths of hose you can borrow to fill up on water if your length of stay requires a refill. The staff is excellent to deal with, firewood onsite, golf course nearby and beach across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a beautiful place! Clean bathrooms with showers. Playgrounds, sandbox, swimming area, and beach for the little ones. AMAZING concession stand with the BEST poutines ever!! We didn't have the best of luck with the fishing around here, but got enough for a fish fry! Over all was a great time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice campground, helpful and friendly campground workers, has clean flush toilets and pay showers. The park is very fun for the kids with all the variety. There is giant tic tac toe, and a basketball court, a playground, a sandpit and a couple other sport ideas. The wood is a good price and burned nicely , not protected from the weather though unfortunately. The fire pit was very large, but shallow and had a nice flip down grate on it which was very handy. The site was nice and big and had a mix of grass and dirt, but there was a wasp nest in the ground. Very family friendly. It was too chilly to swim but they have a swimming pond beside the lake, and mini golf beside the lake as well. Would recommend for families with kids in tents or a trailer.
