J	Julie Sherwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to sign up my 5 year old daughter at Mellado Dance as I had previously watched one of their performances at the stage in Lafarge Lake and thought the dancers were really good. My daughter wanted to try Acrobatics for her first year only. She seemed to enjoy going to her classes during the year. We just finished the yearly recital season and I was so impressed with how organized everything was! My daughter was well taken care of backstage while I was able to watch the show from my seat in the theater. I don't know how they managed to organize such a well put together show which was 3 hours long. My daughter had so much fun and as a parent it was so exciting to see her perform on the stage. She says she wants to try ballet and tap next year in addition to acrobatics. Good experience all around with Mellado Dance for this new dance mom.

She now has much more self-confidence, she's passionate about dance, loves her teachers, and has made so many special friends. The studio is like a family, the office staff are always kind and helpful, other parents help dancers with whatever is needed. In competition, moms helped with hair styles, makeup, emergency tights when a snag happened, and lots of smiles and encouragements. And at the fabulous yearly Recital, there's moms that volunteer backstage to support the girls. We are so happy we found Mellado and are looking forward to the summer sessions and the 2019-2020 season.

Great community, organized staff with clear communication, top of the line facility and most of all, great teachers. Not only they are really good at what they do. their teachers display empathy, care and love for each dancers. Along with dancing skills, they set good examples of being compassionate, positive and kind. We highly recommend Mellado for anyone looking for a well operated, positive dance studio experience!

They were highly recommended by friends and family friends. The staff treat everyone students and families so kindly. They also handled pandemic precautions extremely well and the facilities are kept very very clean. We hope to stay with this studio for the coming years.

I would have to say that my appreciation of the studio grew even more during the pandemic because the owner took Covid very seriously and did everything she could to make the studio safe so the girls could continue dancing. I think that the studio emphasizes having fun and a positive experience through dance whereas other ones just care about competitions and winning. My girls have enjoyed competitions and the experience they had but they know that dance is more then just that, they get a well-rounded experience. I highly recommend Mellado :)
