I have used the services a few times and the people that call are almost ALWAYS rude or distracted. One time I had a lady with her baby/kid screaming in the background while I was trying to tell her what was wrong she went to tend to her baby. I know we are all working from home but medical appointments are private. Called again today and the PA (Fahid) told me that she could not get back to me as she was busy with β€œpatients” and when I asked if I wasn’t a patient she tried to rush me off the phone. In general the only good thing is their website the people working there are NOT professional!

the worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. If you want to talk to someone who hasn’t lived in Canada for 5 minutes I highly recommend! The incompetence of their physician assistants is disgraceful. I have had covid for 4 days and require a doctors note for a cancellation I was required to make in compliance with covid safety protocol. This clinic REFUSES to provide me with a Doctors note outlining that I am currently sick with covid. I have 3 positive tests and took one test in between the multiple appointments I had to make with this company to try and receive care. I have video evidence of myself taking the Covid-19 rapid antigen test as of 05/31 and the results coming back positive. It’s a shame we are losing this country to people who don’t understand English or provide any kind of bedside manor. I’ve had my time wasted all day by these people for no reason. I was told a manger would be calling me shortly and it’s been over 3 hours. I would avoid this scam of a business at all costs.

The desk staff was 5/5 and very responsive, but the doctor had the audacity to phone 16 hours late on a time sensitive case. I scheduled two appointments with two seperate doctors, and neither were present for the appointment or on duty, only the physician assistant was available? The PA also just repeated the same information instead of listening to my questions. Instead of just admitting they couldn't do my simple request so I could go to another clinic, they wasted my time. It shows a lack of interest for patient health, transparency, and overall respect.

Really good clinic, but I have a few suggestions for the love of god. You guys don't need to ask a ton of questions every time a patient calls in to book an appointment, because it can irritate some. Just keep it simple. Maybe just the name, street name, date of birth and OHIP are enough in order to not take up a lot of time. other than that, i like the clinic

The first two times I used Meira Care it was fantastic, and I highly recommended them to friends and family. I found some Doctors via telephone are knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I also found a certain doctor who I cannot pronounce his name is super ignorant, unprofessional and rude. I can hardly understand him and he always seems to argue with me. Anyways the last two times I called, he told me to go to the hospital and wait instead of dealing with my concern. I won't be recommending Meira Care & it left me very upset with the care that I received via telephone.

I had a great experience with Doctors and Nurse Practitioners of Meira Care. My appointment was few minutes late but the receptionist texted me that the Doctor is running behind. Dr. H was very knowledgeable and a good listener. I was able to get my imaging done locally at GNMI and then I called back to follow up with Dr. M. I highly recommend this service to everyone - very convenient and a user friendly app.

I drove around to 6 different walk-in clinics in my area in hopes that someone would see my 1 year old for an obvious ear infection (regular pediatrician was away), but because that falls under COVID symptoms I wasn't able to have her assessed in person. I was worried when making this phone appointment that it wouldn't go anywhere as who would prescribe antibiotics for an ear infection that they can't see? Nevermind, I won't ask too many questions - I was desperate at this point and with my background as an RN I was certain that it was an ear infection that required some form of treatment at this point. I made the appointment with a pleasant secretary over the phone who said I would receive a call within a 15 minute window that started within the next 5 minutes! I recieved my call only 10 minutes later than assumed, but happily in the comfort of our home. The woman on the phone introduced herself very quickly, but I know I didn't hear a "doctor" prefix, so I assume she was a Physician's Assistant which I had no problem with. I gave her some of the symptoms assuming that was enough information and I was met with defensive questioning, which reduced my rating by 1 star, as to why I thought it was an ear infection. I elaborated more and I guess it was convincing enough. She explained that a prescription would be faxed to the pharmacy I provided and actually took the time to explain why she choose that antibiotic and the side effects of it and what to watch out for. Amazing service! I picked up the prescription 2 hours later and my baby was feeling better within a couple of days. I did note that the doctor's name on the prescription did not match who I spoke to on the phone, which was another tip-off that it was a PA I spoke with. I would definitely consider this service again in the future and recommend it to others!

When you just need to renew a prescription and your family doctor makes it nearly impossible (extended closures, elimination of evening hours, won't accept fax renewals, booking appointments months out, etc.), Meira Care saved the day. This service has made it so ridiculously easy to do something that should be easy, but hasn't been until now. They were very busy tonight and even called me after they closed. It's also a relief to avoid going into a doctors office during covid when you really don't need to actually see a doctor.
