The prices are reasonable for the area and the quality is great. I wanted everything I set eyes on. The owner and greater herself was lovely, helpful, funny and very kind. I stumbled across the place by accident but was so happy I did. My husband and I got supper amazing key chains and hope to go back soon.

Craftmanship is impeccable for everything from jewellery to cards to magnets to stickers. I have skull earrings, stacking rings with gnarly teeth and an anatomical heart, and a charm link bracelet that I try to add to when I can. Plus her geometrical earrings and pendants always draw compliments every time I wear them. Always fun to drop in when I visit Toronto and add to my collection! Definitely recommend for gifts for others or for yourself.

Lots of unique jewelry options (beautiful stud earrings, necklaces, and cuff links). I loved the cards too, and i tried to limit myself to buy only one pair of earrings this time. I highly recommend it when looking for gifts for the lovely women in your life (moms, best friends, partners, etc.). I will definitely be back in September, October, and December to buy a few more gifts. Can you find cheaper alternatives to the necklaces and greeting cards elsewhere? Of course! But there is something very special about finding a unique item that supports an artist you had an actual conversation with. The artist is also very friendly and a natural problem solver. She helped me mix and match the stud earrings that i couldn't choose in between. Also gave me some great tips about my own health issues.

Hoi-An is a delight and so fun to talk to (and you can tell how much work she puts into everything in the her shop!). Will definitely have to go back for more!

Definitely worth stopping by to browse for gifts for friends and family or even to add to your collection. We fell in love with the sleepwalking hedgehog sandwich board that led me into mehoi shop & studio in the Artscape Distillery Studios at the Historic Distillery District. Welcomed by a wall of greeting cards, there are so many products to see and buy like decals, stickers, pins, wall art, keychains and jewelry. We couldn't help losing track of time with all the cute art and illustration created. The owner was great to chat with and offered suggestions on gifts we wanted to buy. We bought a hair pin that was offered in different thicknesses. We also purchased a necklace that the owner offered to try on different lengths for my preference. We had a thoroughly great chat with the owner understanding her inspirations and what went through designing her products. It definitely appealed to me that loves to layer with thin whimsical jewelry but not feel weighted down and can still run for the bus. I would definitely revisit the next time I'm near Mehoi for another show-stopping jewelry piece to the collection.
