1) Il est mentionné a 2 reprises sur votre facture que le véhicule était rouillé, n'oubliez pas qu'il s'agit ici d'un véhicule usagé 2001 qui compte plus de 155 000 km au compteur .
2) La perte d'huile vous a été mentionnée verbalement lors de l'inspection puisque difficile a détecter du a l'antirouille qui avait été appliqué sur le véhicule .
3) Tout d'abords vous avez payé pour une inspection VISUEL et celle-ci vous coutait 200$ avant taxes et non 290$ vous avez payé 60$ avant tx pour un scan test moteur sans compter que j'ai moi même pris 1 heure de plus avec vous afin de tout vous expliquer et répondre a vos multiples questions ; au total nous avons donc passé 3 heures avec vous et vous avez été chargé pour 2. Sans compter que dans ce prix nous avons été chercher et porter le véhicules chez votre vendeur.
4) Avant de traiter quelqu'un de total incompétent faite donc faire plusieurs soumissions afin de vous assurer que avez le même diagnostic ...qu'est ce qui vous garantie que ces réparations devaient vraiment êtres effectuées ... c'est peut être bien votre mécano qui est l'arnaqueur ? Car nous avons fait vérifier le prix pour changer votre radiateur cela en coute environ 450$ au détail ...¸a 1700$ j'imagine qu'il a effectuer plusieurs autres réparations...
En terminant je trouve très dommage que vous essayez ainsi d'entacher notre réputation sur les simples dires d'une autre personne, puisque dans notre domaine d'expertise malheureusement les arnaqueurs sont nombreux . Je suis dans le domaine depuis plus de 20 ans et nous comptons plusieurs clients satisfaits qui reviennent année après année.
IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT:
1) It is mentioned twice on your bill that the vehicle was rusted, remember that this is a 2001 used vehicle that has more than 155 000 km on the counter.
2) The loss of oil was mentioned to you verbally during the inspection since it was difficult to detect due to the antirust that had been applied to the vehicle.
3) First of all you paid for a VISUAL inspection and it cost you $ 200 before taxes and not $ 290 you paid $ 60 before tx for a motor test scan besides I took myself 1 hour more with you to explain everything and answer your many questions; in total we spent 3 hours with you and you were charged for 2. Not to mention that in this price we were picking up and carrying the vehicle at your seller's.
4) Before treating someone totally incompetent do so make several submissions to make sure that you have the same diagnosis ... what guarantees you that these repairs should really be made ... it may be well your mechanic who is the hustler? Because we did check the price to change your radiator it costs about $ 450 retail ... ¸a $ 1700 I imagine he has made several other repairs ...
In conclusion I find it very unfortunate that you try to taint our reputation on the simple words of another person, since in our area of expertise unfortunately scammers are numerous. I have been in the business for over 20 years and we have many satisfied customers coming back year after year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le mécanicien, Christian, s'est dit très connaissant dans ce genre de véhicule mais en fait il est soit un arnaqueur ou un total incompétent.
D'après son examen, le véhicule était en très bon état, carosserie saine, sans rouille, pas de perte d'huile. Seulement des lumières à remplacer à l'extérieur de l'habitacle et un bout de tuyau de 2 pieds à remplacer, des réparations mineures qui devaient coûter environ 200$.
Il nous a demandé 290$ pour cette inspection.
Quand nous avons voulu faire faire les réparations suggérées, nous avons bien vu avec le mécanicien dans notre région, que le "yoke du différentiel perdait de l'huile, qu'il y avait une autre fuite d'huile au moteur, le liquide refroidisseur était en "bouette", le radiateur très endommagé. Nous avons eu une facture de 1700$ à payer pour ces réparations majeures à effectuer en urgence.
Garage à éviter !!
The mechanic, Christian, said he was very knowledgeable in this kind of vehicle but in fact he is either a scammer or a total incompetent.
According to his review, the vehicle was in very good condition, bodywork healthy, no rust, no oil loss. Only lights to replace on the outside of the cabin and a 2-foot piece of pipe to replace, minor repairs that were expected to cost about $ 200.
He asked us for $ 290 for this inspection.
When we wanted to make the suggested repairs, we saw with the mechanic in our region, that the differential yoke was losing oil, that there was another oil leak to the engine, the coolant was in "bouette", the radiator very damaged, we had a bill of $ 1700 to pay for these major repairs to be done urgently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Assurez-vous de faire faire une soumission écrite bien détaillée avant d'aller de l'avant avec eux. (Frais d'atelier, prix de l'heure vs type de véhicule, prix des pièces)
Il semble qu'un climat de terreur y règne ... a mes 3 demandes de parler au propriétaire, sa co-propriétaire et le gérant me disent que je vais le déranger et qu'ils vont se ''pogner'' avec lui ou se faire chicaner.
Toute qu'une belle ambiance...
Oh ... et j'oubliais... c'est sur que ca arrive des oublies ... mais j'ai du y retourner pour faire installer la flotte qui indique le niveau d'essence dans le réservoir. (Belle perte de temps pour moi) ...
Par chance ... c'est garantie ''me dira t'on.'' J'espère bien, c'est pas trop pratique ne pas savoir son niveau de carburant après avoir fait changer la pompe du réservoir. Oups.
Apres beaucoup de sueures froides, j'ai eu 10% (sur les pieces), un réajustement pour seulement répondre a l'entente verbale que j'avais eu avec le gérant au tout départ... Whouhou...
Bref, ''la tite-madame'' qui ''leur font perdre du temps'', mais qui s'est aussi fait raccrocher le téléphone au nez a 2 reprises (un autre adon j'imagine) ne vous recommande pas cette endroit si vous voulez rester zen !

Make sure you get a well-detailed written quote before going ahead with them. (Workshop costs, price per hour vs type of vehicle, price of parts)
It seems that a climate of terror reigns there ... at my 3 requests to speak to the owner, his co-owner and the manager tell me that I am going to disturb him and that they will `` pog '' with him or get quibbled.
All a beautiful atmosphere ...
Oh ... and I forgot ... it's sure that it happens some forgetfulness ... but I had to go back there to install the fleet which indicates the level of gasoline in the tank. (Nice waste of time for me) ...
Luckily ... it's guaranteed '' you will tell me. '' I hope so, it's not too practical not to know your fuel level after having changed the tank pump. Oops.
After a lot of cold sweats, I had 10% (on the parts), an adjustment to only respond to the verbal agreement I had with the manager at the very start ... Whouhou ...
In short, '' the tite-madame '' who '' make them waste time '', but who also had the phone hung up on her face twice (another adon I imagine) does not recommend this place to you if you want to stay zen!

We had a truck broke down at Lacolle border, needed an alternator. We called Peterbilt, they subcontracted the work out to Mecanique St Jean. We had to give them our credit card # to get them to go out. They ended up over charging us by a few hundred dollars and won't do anything about it. Note added after: As they say below, they helped us out inside one hour, yet we were invoiced for 3.75 hours. Maybe we had to pay for the 2 hours that we sat at customs waiting for them to arrive. I understand that it is a tough spot to get mechanics to go, I guess that gives them the right to charge us more than double what we preauthorized.
