He was able to come over the same day as he happened to be in the neighbourhood and got it back up and running. He suggested putting it on a separate circuit, and scheduled in a journeyman and an apprentice to come by the week after to take care of that, as well as install an outdoor fixture and repair an indoor fixture that we had been wanting to get done for months. The quote was fair (less than $100 for parts, $100-$200 for labour). The two guys showed up promptly at 8:30am and were done all 3 jobs by 10am. The bill came to $270 and everything works great! Will definitely use McVey Electrical again, and highly recommend.

I had purchased a house that needed to have the electrical upgraded in order to obtain house insurance. Derek and Turner were amazing. I was very happy with all of the work they did. They were thorough, efficient, prompt and a pleasure to have to do the work. I was also happy they helped keep me within my budget. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Couldn't be happier with his service and value (compared to another local company I used before to install a new panel for $4500). Ended up having a small issue when I finished installing the box myself (as I requested). James got back to me right away and walked me through the simple fix by email. Santa's cookies won't have to be store bought this year. Highly recommend McVey Electrical and will be using James again in the spring for more upgrades.

Every guy on the crew (sometimes up to five people) was professional and hard working while being as non-disruptive as possible. The job was done beautifully! Their pricing was reasonable too.
