McDonald's - St. Marys

This place is absolutely terrible, rude staff. They don’t know how to make food. They don’t know customer service. They take 20 min to get you your order, they stand around talk and leave your food sitting there on the table. Those kids need some extra training I think and they need a supervisor or someone in charge. I waiting one time 30 min for my order when I was the only person there.

Bad service yet again! How hard can it be to buy two double 1/4 with cheese meals? Apparently impossible to get my order correct. One meal came missing the "Double" burger. Maybe they should go back to kindergarten and learn to count!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Waited 30 min for my mobile order when I was the only vehicle waiting. Then staff come out and tell me they aren't open... don't advertise 24/7 if it's not correct. I already placed my mobile order and it took my $ and said they were open. No option to cancel order after you arrive. Next day (today) I waited 25 min for 3 coffees ordered via mobile... only vehicle waiting again... Either add a cancel order option, or stop the false advertising. Absolutely ridiculous. Staff were quite rude about the situation too.

This morning my fiancé and I decided to go out for breakfast since our power was out. We were debating between McDonalds and Tim Hortons and decided to try out McDonalds. We did a mobile order to help ensure quicker waiting times. Once we arrived we waited in the drive thru lineup for 15 minutes, during this time the two cars behind us backed out because of how long we were all sitting there not being helped. When we finally arrived at the speaker nobody greeted us so we said hello… someone then came on and said “hold on a minute I’ll be with you shortly”. We sat at the speaker waiting for over 5 minutes, the cars behind us were not happy. Finally someone answered and we told them our order code. When we got up to the window, the lady tried to tell us that we ordered ice cream and that they don’t serve ice cream this early. I proceeded to explain that we did not order ice cream but rather breakfast sandwiches, she responded by saying “no you didn’t it says here you ordered a McFlurry” I repeated our mobile order code to her twice and showed her on my phone what my order consists of. Eventually she said ohh you gave me the wrong code, when in fact I gave her the same code that was on my phone? She then told us to pull ahead and wait. At this point we really wanted to drive away but because I had already paid our order through my phone this was not a possibility. We had ordered a happy meal and because we did not want to throw out the toy and yogurt we did include that we did not want them in our order, we still received them and now have to waste them which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. Long story short our experience at the St.Mary’s McDonalds this morning was anything but pleasant. I wanted to write this review to bring to the owners attention the behaviour shown by the lady over the speaker and at the window. I know staffing is difficult right now, but because of how we were treated this morning it is unlikely we will be back anytime soon. We will instead go to Tim Hortons.

Congratulations on running the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. Forget about placing a mobile order. You'll do so, get there, and then find out that both curbside spots are full, their drive-thru is backed out to the street, and the restaurant is locked. That's if you're lucky enough that the restaurant is actually open and making food. 24/7 drive-thru? Twice now I've tried to go there around midnight, and there's orange cones in the drive-thru and nobody there. A complete failure of staffing and restaurant management. Do not go here.

I went thru the drive thru today, and a very polite young man helped me with my order. The most friendliest young man in customer service I have ever encountered. Very polite and helpful. I hope his Manager reads this, and knows you having a young man, who is a shining star in your organization. I hope he is recognized in some way. It was about 230pm May 16, 2022. I wish I got his name.

Super professional staff, super clean, beautiful and fast!

On the way out of town. It made for a quick stop. Staff were friendly and quick with making an order. Unfortunately staff made a mistake with the order and caused a little confusion and delay. #localguides
