I am a school bus driver who was trained and employed by the company several months ago. It is a great company to work in. The company is now owned by Pacific Western Transportation (PWT), the largest privately-owned passenger transportation company in Canada, offers comprehensive transportation services and solutions across the country, with over 5000 employees and numerous business locations. However, McCluskey transportation, one of the School Bus services of PWT is still managed by the same management with better advantages to the employees and the customers. John the training manager is delivering a wonderful service to all the trainees.Still this branch office owns "E" class small busses and they are wish to add a couple of "B" class big busses to the fleet soon. I would still like to keep 3 stars since I have some concerns to verify. Edited on 12th December 2019 Now they owns a fleet of Brand New "B" class busses and they are in service. William is a wonderful teacher who is strict but knows how to teach almost all the driving techniques. Letitia of the dispatch section id doing a wonderful job. She is well organized, answer each & every message while trying to find solutions and always do the needful. I wonder why they still have a very unorganized office. Mary the manager is always kind but sometimes seen little bit stressful. I think they need more office staff to manage this place and it needs more space according to the rapid growth. The company must pay its attention to provide health benefits to the employees and to maintain the cleanliness of the busses. Everyone likes to ride in a wonderfully maintained clean bus, especially the kids. Shouldn’t they go to their schools happily in a beautiful bus? I would also like to suggest a dress code to make it a unique school bus company. Let’s add another theme to “Safely home “, … “Schooling happily”. My overall experience is good with this place is so far good. Looking forward for more improvements.

Awful company. If I could give 0 stars I would. The bus driver is extremely rude and threaten my mother during a verbal altercation because my mom was a couple mins late to pick up my brother. Note that the lady (bus driver) comes between 3 30- 4 10. So it is very hard to chose a time to come get your child because the bus is always late ! After the altercation the bus driver started refusing to pick up my little brother. She would leave him at school and tell him he's not allowed on the bus. My mother complained to the bus company and the school board. The bus company did nothing and the school board said that they would warn the bus driver but somehow they allowed it to happen again ! The second time the bus company sided with the bus driver and said to my mom that she doesn't care about her side of the story. Extremely disgusting ! And they should be shut down !

School bus #7780 was sitting in the right hand turn lane at Islington & Queensway but did not turn. When the light changed to green she went straight thru and nearly side swiped the car in the right lane. She endangered many lives

The staff are high experience and they always try their best to be as safe as possible. The school bus driver are very good.

It is one of the best school bus companies out there in the Toronto area. It offers better compensation than most competitors, except for the lack of health benefits. For those retirees who drive school buses it is irrelevant since they are covered if they are collecting OAS. But for younger folks who are under 65, it is a downside. Fleet is well maintained and the safety manager and the operation manager are doing a great job. One star less because of: 1- lack of health benefits, 2- no social life since drivers starts their route with the kids and they go home after, hence no interaction with anyone except with the kids, 3- compensation can be better since the company is bought out by a large coach bus company.

Driver pulled out into the road after seeing me driving up the street. there was no space for him. AND it WAS MY right of way but he wouldnt budge. he said 'you saw me' ...Driver did NOT know the rule of Ontario roads. Disrespectful. AND you trust him to drive safely with YOUR KIDS?

Very unprofessional! They left my daughter without a bus for over a month! I have filed a complaint with the Ombudsman Of Ontario, they helped when the same situation occurred in the past.

Bus 8190 travelling west bound on the 401, didn’t realize a bus was allowed to go over 125 kms !!! This is the second time I’ve seen this bus going that fast !! Dangerous driving !!
