★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice sandy beach with a grassy area with park benches. There are some spots with rocks in the water. But its not too bad. The beach is not super busy. Nice place for a family day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice beach, not as busy as Grand Beach. Enough shade to stay cool as needed, but plenty of sun and sand. The beach is such a slow grade entry you can probably walk for miles before it gets deep! We had a great time as a family!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach, The water of the lake is a bit muddy with some water plants. The lake is very shallow, you can take your children to walk far and far without worrying, and the beach is also very comfortable. He is very close to Winnipeg and not very crowded.

Love the fine white sand, long dock and volleyball nets.
Caution: zebra muscles are sharp and getting closer to shore. Would recommend water shoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the Matlock Beach in September 2021 to check out the pier. The tall, wooden pier was a super cool feature and extended from the beach over the lake with a sitting area and benches at the end. The views were beautiful from the pier and it was a peaceful place to visit in the morning! Great for photography as well.
