Master Yoga - Scarborough

I’m a yoga instructor from Srilanka, followed Master Yoga RYT course -Jan 2022 via online. It was a wonderful experience to learn from master Jey Siva, who got depth understanding and the best academic knowledge in Yoga therapy. This course helped me to enhance my yoga knowledge more in theoretical and therapeutical aspect.

My son who is 7 has been joining master yoga's class since he was 5 and it has been a great learning experience. Classes are conducted as per kids needs with the right amount of discipline, encouragement, motivation and fun. The best part is the stories master shares with his students. There are also regular skill testing done to ensure the children are learning and advancing. I am very happy that my son is part of master yoga. And excited to see him progress in the world of yoga.

I am a Doctor based in UK and have done the diploma in yoga and teachers training course with the Master yoga institute online. The course was very structured , well organised and taught in a systematic way . Each sessions were interesting and kept us all on toes. Theory lessons were the highlights of the course. I was able to understand the science of yoga and Anatomy of the yoga in depth following the course. Master Jey Siva is the main tutor of the course. His enriched knowledge in multiple subspeciality made the course standard exceptionally high. His mentoring and guidance on Meditations, pranayam, asanams and kriyas all helped me to fine turn my practice of yoga.I was encouraged and given multiple opportunity to instruct and teach in the course. At the end of the course I felt very confident to take up a role as a teacher. It was really surprising to me that I was able to  learn a very useful training via online and I feel it is very unique opportunity. I am really fortunate to have this opportunity. It has been a amazing experience learning yoga from the institute and I will highly recommend the course for those interested.

I finished the Online Yoga Teacher Training on April 2022 at Master Yoga. It is really worth to do this Course. We get more Theoretical explanations of Yoga how it impacts in our Life and Anotomy of Asanas. We learned the Asanas also in detail with more explanations. Master Jey is the Course Leader. He leads excellent the Course in very simple way to understand. I recommend everyone to do the course who wants to live the Life happy and healthy way.

I had a great experience learning and completing my yoga training with Jey Siva for 2020/2021 at Master Yoga. He goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable learning and growing in his classes. As a young adult growing up in Canada, I found that this was the perfect place to deepen my yoga knowledge and genuinely understand how to apply yoga concepts such as meditation, diet, asanas etc. in all aspects of my life. Vanakkam! I am a high school student, who has been going to Master Yoga for the past 9 years. I can confidently say that Jeya Master has significantly changed my perspective and interest towards Yoga in various ways! Yoga in the recent years has been deeply modernized, resulting in many of the traditions and roots of this holistic practice to be washed away, or changed. There are not many people who know about the secrets, techniques and benefits regarding such ancient practices! Jeya Master is one of those people who is the reason for the traditional practice of Yoga and other Siddha Chikitsas to be alive today! Master Yoga's RYT-200 Course I have recently completed my RYT-200 course under Master Yoga for the Jan 2022 period, and when I mean it was mind blowing, it truly was! As a student who is still wondering what to possibly do for university, Master has significantly inspired me to take the health sciences route, as he beautifully explained both the western anatomical reasoning along with the traditional yogic reasoning for EVERY single pose. I have learnt so much in the span of these 3 and a half months, compared to the past 9 years of learning Yoga and doing GLE's . Master always said that you don't need to be a teacher who knows everything in the world, however you can be a master at the knowledge you do know and this course is a solid example behind Master's response. This course was very adaptable towards all ages, as we had teens around my age, to even seniors globally learning through a online/ hybrid platform! Without a person like Jeya Master, none of us would have been this interested and inspired to learn Yoga so deeply. A good teacher is not just a person who has a strong academic background with many degrees and/or certifications, but they must also be able to connect with people in a very impactful and spiritual way. Everything I have said now, may seem like nothing to you, however I can guarantee you that once you come into Jeya Master's Yoga class, regardless of your age, professional background or location in the world, you WILL see a difference with not just your opinion regarding Yoga, Siddha Marma and Chikitsas but the power of unity and divinity that Master spreads to each and every one of his students. I've been here for the first time, and the master was really helpful. I came to get the ayurvedic massage, and it was great. The best part, The master walked me through the process and gave me a good understanding of what was happening. I highly recommend this place. I give 5 star for the service.
