About Massey United Church

Church Calendar

Submit online for the 2024 calendar. The deadline is January 15, 2023.

More information is in the Call for Calendar Photos below.

  • We’re looking for photos of churches from all parts of Canada, unique or traditional, urban, suburban, and rural.
  • Please send interior and exterior shots of church buildings or worship spaces, and architectural and other details.
  • For exteriors, we can always use more winter photos.
  • Try to avoid distractions such as hydro wires, microphones, etc.

We print a photographer credit and offer a $100 honorarium for each photo chosen.

Tips

  • Make sure calendar photos are horizontal.
  • Submit high-resolution JPEG, TIFF, or PNG photos (2-8 MB) via our online form or mail them to us on a USB key accompanied by a contact sheet or colour printout, your contact information, and details about your photos.
  • We can’t accept responsibility for lost or damaged prints or USB keys. Please send duplicates only, not originals.

Bulletin Covers

The COVID pandemic has changed many things, including how churches are holding Sunday services. Most churches are no longer using printed bulletins regularly. As a result, we have decided to pause bulletin production for 2022 and 2023.

Many bulletin choices are already available on the United Church Bookstore, and we will make sure there is enough inventory should circumstances change over the coming months.

If you submitted photos for 2022 United Church bulletins, they are still on file and we will consider them for any future bulletins we produce. We’ll be in touch if we'd like to use one of your photos.

I've been gone nearly two decades, and the racism in this small town still hasn't changed a bit. Remember that the reserve nearby has a greater population than your town does, and on top of that I'm pretty sure it is the only reason that keeps your businesses open over there. I'd like to add this as a reminder, you may be able to get away with that kind of racism to some degree. But that's not tolerated in the larger cities, grow up people.
