The wooden bridges need some tlc but otherwise a gorgeous trail and a good getaway to nature within the city.

There is a 'lost city' currently there... not very safe for chidrens. The board walk is also currently broken so you'll need to be able to climb/jump. The trails are very nice and the lookout from the board walk is beautiful! Its a nice little hike or you can enjoy walking the railroad (but look out for trains!!!).

To get here, you have to pass a narrow and eerie trail, next to a golf course.

Hiking path starting at lake ontario and heading north thru conservation land. Rideau trail uses this path with orange markers. Side loops along the way. Crosses major strees areas with shops and stores but still be prepared when hiking the trails. Very nice forest but people need to practice leave no trace principals, i carried a bag of garbage out that i picked up in under a km the bag was full! Parking area at king st and trailhead place.

Good trail, although its not complete as the bridge is broken between some parts but can be traversed. The trail itself doesn’t end after the railways tracks you either you have to turn back or walk the tracks to the next nearest road, it’s a risk.

Really nice patch of nature in central Kingston, with a fairly decent trail and a boardwalk through the marsh. Its really peaceful in the winter especially after a fresh snowfall, especially if you come on a slower day closer to sunset, as you can watch the orange glow of the sun as it sinks through the trees. I definitely recommend checking the conservation area out if you are in the area and want something to do that's outdoors. Will definitely be back in the spring/summer months to enjoy the greenery and wildlife

Very beautiful. Lots of roots but just walk carefully. Two wood bridges. Could use some repair but still very usable. Walked for 1.5 hours
