G	Graeme Ivory on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hit this place up on a long drive home with the kids. They absolutely loved it and as someone who works in Parks and Recreation I was very impressed, in fact quite envious with some of the features. The accessible picnic tables are a stroke of genius.

The park has a beautiful Gazebo and many monuments from the areas past proudly displayed for your enjoyment ? overall a great place to relax in this beautiful little town. If you can, get your vaccine.It's time to get out and enjoy our summer! We deserve it!! ??
K	Kannan Muthiah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you are traveling from Toronto to Ottawa, this is a perfect midway point to take a break and have some snacks or relieve yourself. Nice place right by the Trans Canada Highway. We took a short break and had our lunch at one of the many picnic tables. There is a Service Ontario location with a nice and clean washroom. This location is combined with Tourism Information Centre where they have information brochures and Ontario maps. There is a small splash pad and kids play area as well. The parking lot is small though with only up to 10 spots.
K	Kathryn Blackthorne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice area for walking. Generally not busy. The sound of the rushing water is very soothing. Loons, ducks, sometimes swans. Occasionally a beaver and river otters. Wear bug repellent at dusk!
j	judi kochanka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were travelling to the Ottawa Valley and this has become our go to spot for lunch or snacks on the way. It is picturesque and tranquil as the picnic tables are close to the river. It is also a great spot to stretch your legs and take in a little bit about the history along the trail. There is a tourist bldg on site which is usually opened so you can always use the washroom. We may have been a bit early as it was closed in May. If the parking lot is full, you can always go across the street as their is a park with baseball diamonds and a parking lot that is closer to the water. We enjoyed some lunch items here on our return trip.
