I go out of my way to get my groceries from young bro’s. I commend the owner’s attention to detail, quality and courtesy. You don’t have to be in the business to realise that it takes a constant effort for a small volume grocer to procure quality fruits - their berries in particular are tops in my opinion. During this covid crisis - they take calls and try to pick and arrange my order for pick up and are very professional and accommodating.

If I could go more often I would, the people who run this place care about the products and will try their best to satisfy their regular customers. The only place in MTL I don't have to triple check the vegetables.

I have been shopping at Young's Bros since I have moved to Montreal many years ago. They have the best selection of fresh fruits and vegetables in the neighborhood. They beat the local supermarkets in terms of quality and price and can compare with Jean Talon and other street markets. In recent years, they have added some meats and delis to their offerings, and although their price is right, their quality is much less than that of their fruit and vegetables. What they do well, they do exceptionally well: 5 stars. The other stuff: 2stars.

The most fresh fruits every day, affordable prices, family like ambience and rare cut flowers ( 5 roses for $9.99) which last very long, mimosa, tulips ! Very clean and well maintained store!

This is right near my apartment (20 steps away). So this is my go-to market for mostly everything! Every thing here is so fresh and newly stocked. The best thing is the flowers that will just bring a smile to your faces ❤️

Feb 15 2022 update: with the new owner I feel the general quality of the store has improved, however the items are still quite expensive compared to other produce stands. It's Outremont, it is what it is I guess. I still come here about 2-3x a week to grab salad supplies because I live next door. With this being said, I am more comfortable paying the price now than before because the store has improved so much in a short period of time. I really like the addition of fresh ready to eat snacks near the sushi section and including more specialty products/snacks/vegan items. I noticed some ketogenic options and I REALLY hope to see more of that included as time goes on. Updated from 3/5 to 4/5. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Store is convient but the prices are very high. The quality of some items like bread suffers a bit sometimes as well. We purchased challah bread and 24 hours later the unopened package had begun to turn green. Great if you need only a few things and you live in the area but if you're looking to not spend an arm and a leg consider buying your produce elsewhere.

I've been shopping for high quality fruit and vegetables here for 20 years and have come to know Eugénie and Sung over the years. They've given 'first jobs' to many local students and they have generously supported my past fundraisers through food donations. I hope you know how much you and your staff are appreciated by your clients and how much the both of you will be missed by the community. Thank you!

fresh produce, great selection of all different things. Products are well priced, overall a great store with friendly cashiers. Only thing I wish is that they took credit cards.
