★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only had an hour to spend here but our family had a great time. Clean beaches and water, well kept grass, and a great view. Drift wood was surprisingly entertaining and worked as floatation devices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to paddle board. Lots of boat traffic though - stay safe by sticking close to shore. Wear bright clothing and a lifejacket so boaters can see you. For a river adventure put in n at Enderby and paddle to Mara lake. Stop for lunch at the riverside pub in Grinrod.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely small park. It was a bit crowded, and parking was difficult to find, which resulted in some questionable parking behaviour. But the water was nice, there were picnic tables and toilets, and we had a good time.
