MANPOWER

I hope that the management team reads this because I came in on (Wednesday, June 07, 2017) and I came in to register because I saw a posting on their website looking for Material Handlers/Order Picker position and the lady told me that I came to the wrong office and that it was actually at North York (550 Petrolia Road) which was at Keele and Steeles. So she gave me the address and phone number and the woman name (Pretty)? I am really confused because I previously worked for Manpower during Summer/Fall 2015 and I register in the downtown Toronto branch and I did mention it to the lady, but she was asking me if I was a student as the company won't accept students and I told her that I am a student and I am taking part-time studies and that the classes are mostly evenings and weekends. But she told me that they want ONLY full-timers and will not want me. I would like to speak to them and let them tell me that in person, as I am someone who has warehouse experience and would benefit working at the cosmetic company. I am pretty smart and checked out the number she gave me and it turns out she gave me the wrong number to the company. She or whatever she was (recruiter)? Is not professional and would not recommend anyone to apply at that Manpower location...unless you live close to that branch...then good luck! They seem busy when I came...as if Walk-in registration is absurd to them and that I needed to have an appointment...which I could have...if they would have called me and book an appointment. I am sorry for this long review but for someone like me who travelled from Weston Road & Lawrence Avenue to this location is pretty far as I was determined to work there! But unfortunately...the woman does not want me to work there because I am a student...a student who is trying to get a degree to get a decent job in this job market of retail/warehouse. Best of Luck if applying with them!

Charlotte was very rude to my wife. She told my wife who's new to Canada, "You don't understand English, you can leave." The job my wife applied for was packing product. My wife does not speak fluent English but she understands and is a hard worker. Don't waste your time at Manpower they don't want to help.

They are very rude, they don't no even how to talk with people. They gave me five shifts in a week. They told me that you have all shifts confirmed in schedule but when we reached in the company Weston food, no shift in their schedule and they sent back us home. That time any branch of Manpower didn't answer my phone calls. When they picked my call the lady Narmada Naguleshwarajah was very rude and she talked with me very badly. And this was my second time experience in phone someone talked with me ago from Markham branch. Same problem with one my friend . And same day one of Lady has also.

Manpower helped me gain valuable experience and give me countless job opportunities! My recruiter Katrina was very helpful, responsive, professional and helped me get my dream job!

I personally like this agency as the staff is quite cooperative and they give timely reply to everyone.
