You really can have it all—a classy restaurant with a young, hip, urban vibe that says, “Wow!” and still remains comfortable for loyal clientele— and Manos Restaurant’s renovation has proven it, earning Stantec Architecture & Interior Design the Design Council of Saskatchewan’s 2009 Premier’s Design Award of Excellence (Interior Design Category).
Manos Restaurant has come a long way from the “pizza and other things” restaurant started on a shoestring almost 30 years ago, in September 1981, by Greek immigrants. Through keen observation, a willingness to change, meet and exceed demand and a lot of drive, the Barlas brothers—Manolis, Louis and Bill— have made Manos a popular Saskatoon dining destination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant and lovely lighting and decor. Love the French onion soup and presentation was so pretty! I had seafood stuffed chicken which was good however I was not a huge fan of the sauce on top but our date night was defintely still enjoyable and my partner loved his prime rib steak!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing. The lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection. There were 6 shanks on the plate. It came with soup or salad, a side and vegetables for $32. Ten lamb shanks at Costco are $45. I couldn't make this meal for that price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not our first family visit to Mano’s on 8th street, and wont be the last, the calamari was really crispy and cooked perfectly and I absolutely would recommend it. The chicken lemon rice soup is a personal fave and is never a miss so I had to have a bowl. As an entree I had the salmon with a stuffed baked potato and veggies as a side. Everything was plated nicely. Unfortunately the veggies were too unseasoned for my liking and the baked potato was kind of dry I suppose, it seemed like it had been somehow dehydrated, but the salmon was good enough, it was cooked right, I added some lemon and salt to it because it was a tad bland. Not sure I would call that a $30 meal, but it wasn’t terrible.
The bathrooms are very clean, my daughter even said it “smells nice” when we went in and they are wheelchair friendly, my toddler daughter could reach the sink easily without assistance. Our server Adam was very polite, attentive and well spoken and a overall a great server. Service and atmosphere are definitely something they pride themselves in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly good experience here with a group of family members. The food was beautifully presented, tasty and plentiful. Classic dishes but with a fresh look. The atmosphere was spacious and not too loud, even when seated in the lounge. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall very positive dining experience. The patio looked very inviting as well....for another day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute best Eggs Benedict I have ever had in my whole entire LIFE!! I’ll order eggs Benedict anywhere any chance I get. This place takes the cake for sure! The service was amazing too! Could tell the guy loved his job and was proud of where he worked. Will probably take a trip to Saskatoon from Regina once a month just to visit Mano’s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We haven't been to Mano's in a very long time. We went there for lunch with family on February 27/2022. The server was great. This review has nothing to do with him. We had an "incident" with one of the soups, which kind of ruined lunch for everyone at the table. No manager, or staff of higher authority came to apologize to the table. The poor, equally horrified waiter had to handle it himself. We appreciated the discounts, and complimentary meal, but it would have been nice for it to have been addressed by a manager as well. I personally had the "Next Level Mac & Cheese" which was partially described as having "crab meat and a rich cheese sauce". however, there was a sincere lack of the crab meat (meaning there was actually none), and the meal itself was pretty bland. Also, 3 of the 4 toilets in the washroom had urine droplets on the seats. Probably won't be back. ever.
