Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa – The Dead Sea of Canada - Manitousprings.ca
Due to Fire Hazard and complaints of Odour and smoke in the hallway of the food, guests will not be allowed to bring any kind of cooking equipment to the resort. Failure to comply with the rules will lead to cancellation of the reservation and guests will be politely asked to check out and still be charged for the night as a penalty. We thank all our guests for their cooperation in this matter.
Pool, Watercrest Café, and SPA will be closed from November 7th, 2022 to November 30th, 2022 due to annual maintenance. All services will resume from December 1st, 2022.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an Executive King Room. The room was fine - quiet, clean and comfortable. Check in was smooth. Parking is across the street or out back. I was a bit nervous when I first got to the room as it was adjacent to a parking area and beside a stairwell. I am alight sleeper and was concerned about noise. However, it was very quiet at night. The wi-fi was good and the tv had a good selection of channels. The hotel has a dining room and lounge. I was seated in the lounge overlooking the lake. A great view. The service was very good and the food was good average fare. I had the Penne Primevera. I thought the portion size was small for the price. The mineral pool was interesting. It is as described. It was not busy when I was there. There are change rooms and showers at the pool and towels are provided. It appeared clean to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are some improvements needed. The room we stayed in was facing a parking spot and there is no privacy at all. I can't even open my curtain. Closing the windows makes the inside dark but there was not enough lighting.
Place some trees and shrubs in front of the parking spot. Add some lights for sure.
The keys were rusty and hard to open. A keyless entry would be ideal.
Restaurant, OMG it was the worst experience I have ever had. First of all, a server brought us food at many different times. Also, he did not bring the food for one of us. Forgotten. After a long time, we asked them to take out for forgotten food. I ordered chicken satay it was too sweet.
The bill appeared as a mess and completely mixed up all orders. Chicken satay appeared as Asian noodle as I they told. Make sure the order name is the same as the billing name and there is no confusion.
