Average food. Service isn't that great. It's hit or miss with the food. Some times it's awesome, some times it isn't edible. We decided to stop eating here because we didn't like those odds. The meat is always really gnarly and full of fat. I spit out more than I swallow. We live 45 minutes away, this is the closest place to us. Last time i was there I ordered dinner for 6 people and when I picked it up the hostess handed me one bag. I asked if that was everything. She said yes. The bag was only half full and it didn't seem like much food so I asked again if she was sure that was everything. She insisted it was. I went out to my vehicle and pulled everything out of the bag. Half of it was missing. I went back in and she said "oh, I guess there was a second bag. I explained that it was an hour and a half round trip to get that food for my family and her error could've cost me another HOUR AND A HALF trip. She didn't seem to care at all. The restaurant is old and run down. There aren't usually very many people there so there's no wait to be seated. I've never sat down in the restaurant to eat, I've always gotten take out. I guess I'd still recommend it if you want Chinese. We don't have many options in Mission and the others are even worse.

This family of 6 enjoys the food, good quality, great prices but the only thing we miss is getting to stay inside for dinner and hand out with the staff. They've always killed it with their customer service.

Chinese food you can rely on and a little bit more. We have been ordering here for a few months now and I have never been disappointed. My favorite is the House Chow Mein with the thin noodles. Today I tried the Almond Chicken and it is better than any that I have had in the last few years. The Ginger Beef was tender with just the right amount of heat. S&S Pork cooked perfectly with enough sauce. The Chop Suey always has fresh veg and tender meats and the House Fried Rice was absolutely delicious. I have tried all the Chinese Restaurants in this area over the last 6 months and Mandarin Palace has good prices, reliable delivery courteous service. There food just has a little something extra that sets the taste above the other restaurants while still making everyone at the table happy.

Amazing customer service and can always count on great quality food. Our favorite is the mandarin chicken lunch special! I don't know what is going on with some of the reviews on here. This is my kiddos' favorite place to go so we've gotten to know the staff and never had any issues.

Disappointed. Very bland, soggy and the prawn dish had overcooked frozen vegetable mix, I’ve never seen Chinese food with frozen peas, corn, carrots and beans in it….the peas were grey not green, disgusting. Also the chili garlic prawns were in a sweet and sour sauce not chili garlic…..over half the container was filled with onions. Won’t be ordering from here again.

It was our 10 year Anniversary and we wanted to order Chinese food. I called at 4:30 and they stated it would be about 1 1/2 hours. I said fine. We ordered dinner for 6 and substituted the chicken vegetable dish for another SS pork. It arrived 2 hours later COLD. The rice was so overcooked it was one big gelatinous mound of mush. The chow mein was flavourless and mushy. Both of the SS pork were also very overcooked and dry and stringy. The pork had so much batter, it absorbed all of the sauce, like they ran out. The ginger beef was the same thing. There was no taste of beef only stringy, overcooked gristle surrounded by a ton of mushy batter. Deep fried prawns had a tiny, little prawn in a great, big ball of fried batter. More BREAD! . My husband was choked and didn’t eat. It was terrible! I even tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and had it for lunch, warmed. Put the prawns and egg rolls in the toaster oven and crisped them up. The egg rolls were good ? Everything else was still terrible and I had the same opinion! I called the restaurant and stated the above and she got the owner and nothing. He told me that the rice was supposed to be soft and no one else complained and he’d give me 10% off on my next order. Dinner for 6 is $98. I was hoping Hubby would take it for lunch but he won’t touch it again. Don’t waste your time or money here folks! I NEVER will again EVER!???

First time ordering from here for myself. I ordered the Singapore Style Rice Noodles and Deep Fried Wontons. They had to ask to see if they still had the wontons available and they said "yes". Then I get a call back 2 minutes later saying they actually didn't have the wontons, so I ended getting the wortip dumplings that they recommended. All in all, I was very pleased and satisfied with the noodles, the dumplings were something new, but good as well. Communication could be worked on and I found it to be a tad overpriced compared to other Chinese restaurants.
