★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is always something going on at this center. Its a great place to get involved. Alot of programs and activities for families. There is a great early on center here its better than than the others in the scarborough area. The facilitator is very friendly, positive and professional. The space is clean and they have great programs for kids. This summee they may have yoga for the kids. There is plenty of programs and support for women in the community. There missiom is to helo women reach their full potential. I am very happy to have found this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a place that is warm and welcoming for women of all ages youth and children. There is an early years centre for children 0 - 6 and various programs for youth. Opportunities for youth on a broad spectrum. There are programs for women in the gym and there is Women's Place. I went there the Digital Storytellers workshop with the Enable Access program. This is a great place to feel as if you belong. Seniors both men and women have a place here check it out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HATE THIS PLACE the receptionist is always so rude every time I call —— and whenever they transfer my call to another person they are NEVER “AVAILABLE” I will never be associating with this place again. And the person at the reception is always in a hurry for some reason and gets SO BOTHERED whenever I need to ask more than one thing.I’m aware there are different receptionist but my experience with most of them has just disappointed me. I just personally don’t like this place at all. Had a very bad experience with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our baby shower at this venue in November 2019. We had approximately 120 guests. The gymnasium was a good size for this many people and we were allowed to decorate as we wished. Because of the large windows, the room is very well lit. There's a large kitchen in the gym as well. The staff member who was on duty that day was professional and accommodating. We worked with Reanna in facilities over the months leading up to the event and she was responsive and helpful with all of the questions that we had. It was a pleasure working with her. The price for the venue was very fair and there ample parking. I would highly recommend the venue for functions like parties, showers, weddings, etc.

When i move to canada in 2019, Eventho i had no close family member to walk me through, introducing me the "Canadian system", i never felt as a stranger with Malvern Newcomer's Department help and support, i have met people who are very helpful and understanding who i can even call a family/friend now. Specially Cathy Mwanza, SHE is an amazing person full of support , very understanding , friendly , she is the RIGHT person that any newcomer should know....she is like an angel that stood beside !
If you are a newcomer to Canada, living in Scarborough area i HIGHLY recommend this center .... i dont think you can find a best place than Malvern Newcomer's Departement, Specially With Cathy Mwanza in it....!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a huge park behind the RC. They allow you to park your car there and you can go for a walk. Sometimes the entire neighborhood will be out and you can enjoy your summer with a really good vibe. Small problem tho, there are empty beer cans as well as plastic bottles all over the place and it can get kinda messy. You would think the government would clean it up on time but no. Other than that it's an amazing place.
