 Crooked wall, leaky ceiling, badly installed ventilation in the walls, a picture is worth a thousand words, just problems, and see employment criteria???

I have had my house for 1 year already and I have only very good words. Incredible quality of house and exemplary follow-up despite the complexity of the construction. The project was explained to me well and I can only say that communication is key… and they have it!

We have built our second house with Maison Côté in three years and the difference is appalling. Holes left in the house during winter. Windows requiring replacement. Sawed through beams. No patio doors for 3 months (but immediately available locally). Delays, excuses, more delays and more excuses. All the while the président himself Raphael Coté panders and makes light of the circumstances while he assures his own bottom line. The front-line workers are holding the company together. Under staffed and profit maximized you will get an inferior product.
Stay tuned for media coverage on these issues but Stay away from Maison Usinee Côté. Don't make the same mistake we did. Anyone interested in the lovely communications from the president they are available upon request.
In response:
Oh fret not, I am in full contact with your overworked and underpaid department of 2. Your aftersales team is sincerely great but as I said they are not given the tools to succeed. They excel in their roles but you, again are not giving your employees the resources required. Even a gift basket to your affected clients would go a long way.
Here's a tip for Cote upper management. Find alternative suppliers, give your employees raises. Exist in reality with the problems you face. And dear God, expand your after sales department. The expectation of a staff of two (2) for over a hundred sales per annum is...insane planning. To those reading I ordered the house Sept 2020. Delivered Dec 2020, now 4 months later I have problems with recently delivered windows and patio doors. The frontline employees are the ones saving the company, not upper management. I have three acquaintances that have gone with other builders. My main concern is the problems I don't see...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience was great until we had a serious problem. I’ve been waiting 2 years to have my windows and doors changed because they were damaged. I feel like I’ve just been jerked around. They promised to have the windows and doors changed but now they won’t even return my calls or emails. They just keep wasting my time. I’m not the only client in this situation specifically. They don’t work with the same supplier anymore but what Cote doesn’t realize is that I paid THEM for a product and they’re responsible for the end result, not their supplier. The company came to my house at 7 am this morning. I took the day off AGAIN to get this done and they left right away without doing anything AGAIN because they didn’t have all the pieces. I’m so mad & it’s so disappointing that I’m going to have to send Rafael a lawyer’s letter. I didn’t want to go that route. Pretty sure he’ll return my phone calls once he gets the letter.
