Small town restaurant that was very popular for locals and visitors. We waited about 15 mins before being seated. Saw it had good reviews on google and checked it out. Didn’t have their burgers, although I think that’s what they are more known for. Wasn’t really in the mood for burgers so we tried out their other items. Ratatouille, the pastry was good but I didn’t really like the ratatouille itself. Think it lacked flavour, it’s not the ratatouille I know, but they were generous with the cheese. Steak and salad, lemon snapper were more home-cooked-meal type of dishes. It wasn’t too memorable. For the portion of the food and the taste, I’d say it’s a bit pricy for what it is.

We wanted to try something else other than the fast-food type of food near the Hwy 60 exit. Found the Main Street in downtown Huntsville, and located this little cute restaurant. The décor is bright and clean, very open view. The food choices are very attractive. The burger with Brie, Peer puree and bacon is awesome. Home fries is mashed fried potatoes so the skins are crispy~ nom nom. However, one star was taken off because the penned pasta we ordered was undercooked. It was not lunch hour and there were no other customers there, so there should be no excuse to not cook the pasta fully. Overall still a good restaurant to recommend.

One of the best steak in “steak and eggs” I’ve ever had! The CAB sirloin tasted like actual CAB (some restaurants falsely advertise this) and it was amazing! Service was friendly and fast. The tables are extremely spread out to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. An overall fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We picked this place because of the high ratings. For me, it was more of a 3.5 star experience. The space is cute and modern, and the staff are great. From the name and blackboard, we expected a lot of farm-to-table creativity and from-scratch for pretty much all ingredients, and that was not totally the case. This place has solid home cooking and a pretty traditional menu. I had the French Onion Soup and the calamari, and both were OK, but not spectacular. The calamari came with two sauces (seafood and tartar), and I suspect they were both from bottles. I also expected more of a focus on Ontario wine and cocktails that were creative. Those just don't exist here. Maybe the disconnect was simply on expectations. I would have loved a more creative experience. Also, the vibe changed when an arranged tour bus came in. GREAT for their business, just not so great to be a patron with such a large, loud group there, too. The heart is there, though. I hope they adapt and grow!

Smokey burger was the best I've ever had! I should not have had mustard and relish though. It certainly didn't need it. Very tender, juicy and tasty burger. Chef Ryan visited each patron. Very friendly and great sense of humor.... even when I mentioned the "Golden Arches" restaurant. Our group of 4 were all very well fed on ample portions that tasted great!

While in Huntsville, we saw good reviews about Main St. Local Kitchen and decided to go here for dinner. We were seated promptly. The décor seems to be rustic but with modern touches. As we visited during the summer of the pandemic, there were ample safety protocols being followed (sanitizer station, mask policy for staff, distanced seating, staff seen frequently cleaning). Our waiter was friendly and made recommendation on what was popular. We ordered some classic items; a Chicken Caesar Wrap and an Avocado Wrap (both with fries). Both of these items were wonderful! Stuffed with fresh ingredients, juicy chicken and wrapped in a fresh flour tortilla. We've had similar items at other chain restaurants but these are the new gold standard. The fries were well-seasoned and good with or without ketchup. Ryan even came out and shared that he only uses the freshest ingredients and lets the flavours speak for themselves; it shows. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer in Huntsville as we wanted to try more food from Main St. Local Kitchen.. oh well.. until next time ;)

Our brunch was just fine! The servings are generous, the restaurant is bright and airy, and the service was very friendly! I didn’t enjoy the potatoes, and the Benny was alright—a little heavy on the paprika, and a hollandaise that was too runny for my liking. The breakfast was fine, it just wasn’t really to my taste. I would’ve loved some espresso options on the menu as well.

Been here twice. First time was great! Had steak and fries from kid side of the menu, price was good for meal. Second time was for breakfast. Ordered breakfast with eggs scrambled. The order came with Sunnyside up eggs.waitress was busy but my company confirmed I had ask for scrambled eggs. Ware to the table was cold so that's a plus!
