M	Mere Alien on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the community hub where you go when you need to get something done and you can't call the parents for advice. They have so much combined expertise and are welcoming, friendly and helpful. They have a huge assortment of things there. Love this place.

A hardware store with service and stock of this caliber is rare. Throughout COVID they managed to safely continue their important contribution to the East Vancouver community. Before I think of driving to a big box - I think local. Magnet on The Drive. Highly recommend!

Gilly helped me pick them out and then put them aside for me when I realized I had the wrong card. A1 service. Great store for the layperson who needs a bit of guidance.

These locals need my money much more than a huge multinational. You always get great service there too, by people who actually know what they're talking about. Support your local small businesses.

I don't know how they do it, but every single staff member is always ready to help, not just pointing you down an aisle, but taking you there, pointing out different options, and explaining the reasons for each. (Unlike most hardware stores that have terrible service and/or expect you to be a professional in the area you're shopping for.) They carry pretty much everything you need, from gardening to cooking to pest control to cleaning to carpentry and beyond, and the wonderfully helpful humans that run the store somehow know about everything they carry. Only downside of the place is it's tight quarters, so keep the secret to yourself: This is the best damn home & hardware store ever.
