★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shallow lake, 10 foot depth, we didn't find any fish... Anyways, nice spot, pretty, picnic tables, fire pits and a outhouse. Close to town. Bazillion tiny frogs roaming around the shore for the kids to chase. just about as many wasps as frogs though, but they didn't bother us... accidents can happen so be prepared. Cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really pretty little lake to head out to camp, fish, and kayak. Tons of fish on the fish finder but haven’t been able to get any bites yet. Two separate routes to get to each lake. Can check out the Sites and Trails BC website for full directions to both. The Eastern Lake has a lot more space and multiple campsites at the rec site with an outhouse as well. Definitely recommend that lake over the smaller Western Mackenzie Lake.
