MacEwan Alberta College Surface Parking Lot - Edmonton

Absolutely unhappy with the service I received today. January and February I had to pay for parking with my debit because my credit card that I had on file for the payments to go through on was maxed out. They had no problem with that and always took my payments. I came in on Monday March 2nd to pay and they informed that I could not pay until the fourth because that is when the payments try to go through in their system. The blonde lady told me to come back on the fourth or after I receive an email saying the payment did not go through. I did what she said and came in today March 5th to pay for March parking in cash. There was a different woman at the desk and she took my money and was about to process it. The same woman that I saw on Monday who told me to come back to pay (who was sitting at a desk behind her) asked if this has been a recurring thing that I come in to pay instead of letting it go through on my VISA. I said yes because it is maxed out. She said "we cannot process payments other than automatically through the system." I replied: "How did I pay in person for January and February then?" She ignored my question and just repeated what she said above. I told her my minimum payment on my credit card is over $1000.00 and she simply said back "you need to make sure you are making payments on your credit cards so payments can go through." I said "I can't afford a thousand dollar payment." At this point I started crying. She did not care and kept saying they cannot take my payment. I told her I do not understand why for two months straight I have been able to pay another way and now all of a sudden it is not allowed. She said "the system does not work that way, you have to pay by credit." I was clearly frustrated because I kept getting the same robotic answer with no empathy from this person who works day to day with broke students. I started to hyperventilate because I now all of a sudden had nowhere to park and would have to move my vehicle and probably park 20 minutes away to find free parking. The blonde lady at the desk said I could come in April to pay for both when April is also declined and I said: "What is the difference between paying now and paying in April?" (That would mean I would be paying for both months in April but if I would park in March at the parking lot I would be towed....or booted. I said "I guess I'll just park nowhere, can I please get my money back?" They didn't give me my money. At this point a male came out from the back and started telling me the same thing the lady at the desk kept saying (like I am a 4 year old that does not understand how systems work) so I said, "listen, I understand, I don't need to hear it again. Can I please get my money back?" They did not give my money back (I asked this like 5 times) and the man said, angrily: "Now you're going to listen to me..." So I let him talk while I stared at the wall behind the lady that was originally going to take my money , while still crying and hyperventilating. The man finally said: "Let's put the money through and you can come back in April to pay for April's parking." I got so angry that it took me hyperventilating and crying to get the same customer service I experienced the two months prior. I just left with my money on the counter because I could not stand being in that room any longer. I hope someone is talked to about this horrid customer service and treatment of a student. I understand that the preference is VISA payments, but I am literally struggling to make any ends meet. I simply cannot afford to make an $1000 + payment on my VISA. If they allow alternate payment one month they should keep allowing it based on special circumstances. But they would not even listen to me. They just kept giving the same response like a robot.
