Absolutely magical place. Great place to walk and enjoy nature. When I walk here I feel at peace. Brought my 3 grandmothers here to enjoy it, and they are all over the age of 75. Today was an unforgetable experience for them and myself. Thank you to everyone who maintains this park and keeps the animals safe and happy! I will visit again in the near future and give as much support as I can. Also, for photography I recommend bringing a good quality camera. This time I only had my phone with me, but it was still amazing. Thanks again to everyone who takes care of this place!

We stumbled upon this conservation area while cycling along the Waterfront Trail from Pickering to Oshawa. Since then, it has become a favourite. I've seen a lot of wildlife in this small area: deer (lots of them), different kinds of birds, and other woodland animals. Check it out. Bring the entire family.

I've traveled the world & honestly there's no place like it! If you have young children especially this is a must see!! From the moment you get out of your vehicle you'll be swarmed by Canadian nature ie Canada Geese, Squirrels, Chipmunks ? & more! Wild birds eat right out of your hands although presently May 2022 there's a warning ⚠️ not to do so because of the Avian flu however when this isn't a concern it's wonderful to do!! If you're extra lucky you'll meet the resident deer, raccoons & turkeys. This is an Ontario must do in my opinion. Bird water heaven for sure!! Should you like aquatic adventures bring your canone or kayak & enjoy the marsh & surrounding waterways. This is definitely a wonderful day trip or a great spot to decompress at lunch.

A beautiful pristine conservation park. Great trails to bike or walk. Had a lovely day enjoying the natural environment and seeing the animals in their own safe space.

Accessible parking, flat trails, viewing platforms for wetland areas and access to shoreline of Lake Ontario. Also a popular area for birders. Lynde Shores is an excellent location for shorter, easy hikes of 1-2 hr duration.

Beautiful and relaxing conservation area with both paved and natural trails to follow. An abundance of wildlife (deer, birds, squirrels, etc.) for nature lovers and photographers. Mix of forest trails, open fields, and scenic water views. Perfect for families and people of all ages. Entirely flat terrain, easy to use. Only $6.00 max for parking makes it very economical for hours of enjoyment. Did not see any amenities (bathrooms, food, picnic tables) coming in from the Hall St entrance. However, the park is close to nearby shops and restaurants (driving distance). The entire park was immaculate. Bring some bird seeds and your camera or canvas! Enjoy!

Lynde Shores Conservation Area is perfect for some time spent in nature ... beautiful spot for pictures. Birds and animals will feed from you hand. Great for kids and a little day adventure. There is a small parking lot, parking is a small fee but worth it. ** Tip - take bird seed, sunflower seeds etc with you You will definitely see chipmunks, squirrels, ducks, swans and canadian geese as you enter the conservation area.

Wonderful walk at Lynde Shores - all the deer were out. We managed to see 13 of them. You can only walk your dogs on the paved waterfront trail to protect the wildlife here so not really a great venue for dogs if you want the full experience. But they are clear about that on the website and the trails are well marked so you know which ones to take.
