★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first discovered Lux Boudoir at a Women's Wellness show in Abbotsford 3 years ago. I did my 1st one 2 years ago on my milestone birthday. I didn’t even recognize myself with my hair and makeup done up. I was so nervous. Kari was incredible. She made you feel so confortable ..I felt like I’ve known her for a long time.. she would show you what photo poses to do and was very patient. I definitely came out of my ‘shy state’ zone - I felt sexy and I’ve gained a lot confidence..The photos were absolutely stunning. My 2nd boudoir shoot was just 4 1/2 months ago - again on my birthday. My hair and makeup was done by Lindsay. Kari did my boudoir photoshoot and this time I totally went out of my comfort level. I had so much fun - I felt so beautiful, sexy and alive.. the photos were very expensive .. but worth every penny ❤️. Would I do this again .. ABSOLUTELY!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It might be a good idea to be more forward about fees. People deserve to know how much to expect for the pictures they are posing for. I’m all for supporting local artists and businesses especially for women empowerment. I’m also well aware that living in Vancouver is expensive but charging more than most wedding photographer’s rate to own images (analog or digital) of said shoot is not right. When failing to mention to your client that you most affordable rate for digital is $300 per image for 9 pictures or less and your price for small(7”-10”) matted prints starts at $180… you leave almost empty handed with your entry price. Your reviews wouldn’t be so polarized if you were as transparent as you claim to be with your pricing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wonderful experiences. I was made to feel very comfortable , respected and safe. My hair and make up were beautifully done and the photos were amazing. I highly recommend Lux to anyone looking for a healing experience as that is what it was for me. I felt able to really express myself and my fun side, and was able to open up in a way I had not in a long lime. These phots I had done were not for anyone else but me, to heal past wounds and to love myself fully once more. Amazing experience, amazing photos and amazing women to work with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could rate Lux Boudoir as a 100000 of of 5 I would! These ladies bring a whole new level of confidence and girl gang to the world. I have never felt more confident, sexy, comfortable, at ease, or have had so much fun with a stranger in an intimate setting.
These women will make you feel so comfortable and are very open to being with you on your level. No matter what. There is no judgement, only good, honest, and extremely professional vibes. It’s extremely refreshing to see how many different types of women they work with. Young, mature, pregnant, extravagant, alternative, newly engaged, newly married, first timers, model professionals, etc. This business is the definition of girl power and standing alongside all women.
You are gonna have fun, laugh, maybe cry a little and you will be in awe of yourself when you see the results!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an amazing experience. I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment I walked in. Hair and make-up was done beautifully and just as I had asked for. I had full input on all photos being taken and any suggestions being made to me turned out wonderful. My phots turned out amazing and my boyfriend was speechless when I showed him the finished product. If you are thinking of a boudoir shoot, I would highly highly recommend Lux Boudoir!

The entire process made me feel gorgeous- inside and out- from the make up and hair to the photo shoot to the final product. As a busy mom I’m not usually near the top of my own priority list but this experience reminded me of my worth, and for that I am eternally grateful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The whole experience has been more fun than I possibly could have imagined! Lindsay understood exactly what I was hoping for with hair and makeup and made me feel like a total knockout (without me knowing exactly what to ask for). The entire shoot with Kari was so relaxed, easy, and honestly just a ton of fun! And both Kari and Ali were so patient helping me narrow down my photos (which was incredibly hard to do!). Their friendly expertise was evident at every step, and any nerves I thought I would have immediately disappeared in their capable hands. Truly a fun and empowering experience! I definitely recommend this experience for yourself ?
