★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tour. Learned lots. Tasting was not rushed and got quite the variety of wines to taste. The ice wine was one of the best I’ve ever had. Berry wines were also terrific.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 2022 Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Lu Lu Island Winery on April 17, 2022 was an epic fail!
The egg hunt was advertised to begin at 12:30pm but started earlier than this and was over in less than 5 minutes. Only a handful of the children who attended had the opportunity to hunt for and find eggs. The majority of the children did not even get an opportunity to do this.
The event was chaotic and disorganized. There was no signage or staff directing people where to go. People lined up inside the building, many thinking that this was the lineup for the egg hunt. After waiting for over 20 minutes we found out that this was not the case. This was the line up to get a balloon but you could not get a balloon until you returned with three stamp received after completing activities. The building was packed with people standing shoulder to shoulder. Very poor planning on Lu Lu Island Winery’s part! They should have been more COVID safe and aware!
Our toddler grandson is 2 years 9 months old and was so excited about today’s event. Easter egg hunts are supposed to be fun. Children should be laughing and smiling. Instead, our grandson was disappointed and close to tears. The event was so bad that we left within 20 minutes of arriving. You could see a mass exodus of cars as other disgruntled families did the same. We witnessed so many littles ones with sad long faces as they walked to the car with their parents, carrying their empty baskets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great experience this place was. A place full of history, welcoming and you don't need to drive four hours to naramata for amazingly tasty wines. We went here with a larger group of people and did the full tour of the place with wine tasting at the end and everyone had a blast. They have possibly one of the best ice wines in Canada that i have experienced. Highly highly recommend this place.

You can do tasting some wine and pick the wine that you want to drink at yard!
Tasting is free and it is 5 glass(It is just sip). I will go again with my friends!
