★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!!!!!! This place is a joke. 3rd time we have had issues with no resolution. All we want is our Amazon order. DHL has no cares about the bad service. Terrible place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This courier tagged my Amazon order as delivered at 10:30 AM Nov.22/21 and left no door notice as it states they will do on their website. I have read the numerous complaints on this moron and have contacted Amazon to never use Loomis, Canpar or DHL in our area as it is obvious he is a true waste of skin that all the feedback that has been left.. Can't wait to see if he gives me attitude :) I look forward to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time they were used, they had to search for my package for 5 minutes before telling me they sent it back, gave searching another go and found it after 15 more minutes. They were used again for delivery, this time, they ignored my requested to have it delivered at a different date, then delivering it to a different address.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Canpar seems to be happy to employ delivery drivers who yell, scream, and threaten their customers. Ive been waiting for a call back about this incident for nearly two WEEKS, but every time I call to check on the issue they swear a manager will call me back in 24-48hrs.
Ill believe it when I hear from them, but so far they seem blissfully ignorant to their professional reputation on the island.
If at all possible, never ever ship anything via Canpar to avoid their headaches.
Update: I eventually heard from a 'manager' about a month and a half after the incident. They gave a very non-commital answer and didn't see to have any empathy for my situation. Again, avoid Canpar at all costs, unless the worst customer service is the business is your goal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used this company first time, but it was terrible, irresponsible, and disrespectful service ever. I was supposed to get my package ordered by Amazon today because they texted it would be delivered "today". I had been waiting for my package at my home half a day, but no one came. Then they sent me a message attempt failed because no one home. It didn't make sense. I was home when they gave me the text message. I even didn't get any calls. I phoned them to ask what it's going on and exact hours of next delivery. I just wasted my dayoff. I never use this company again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible, horrible service. I have had to deal with them over a dozen times. Not one package actually got delivered to my house. After text messages that package is out for delivery, nothing shows up for days. I end up going into the depot and package is sitting in the back. I never do or will pick Loomis Express Courtenay depot for anything. Just seems like the international companies I deal with end up using them or delivery groups that contract to them. I would give zero stars but you need to check at least one to make a review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered item from AirMiles who use Canpar but offloads to Loomis in Courtenay BC For the last 2 days I have watched as the truck drove right past my building and never even stopped. Moments later I received notification that I was NOT HOME This also happened the last time I ordered something from AirMiles and it was sent back. Like everyone else, nobody answers the phone at the office, their e-mails is having "technical difficulties" yadayada Do not use this courier if at all possible We have numerous other courier services in the Comox Valley who actually care about their customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess 0 out of 5 stars isn't possible so I have to give them at least 1 star. In all the years I've been living where I am, just north of Courtenay, they haven't once successfully delivered a package. They've lost a package. They don't answer the phone... I've been at the desk at the depot while they searched for a missing package, and the person at the front desk ignored the several phone calls that came in. They are rude and seem to go out of their way to avoid being helpful... they tried to blame me for the package they lost. Not surprisingly they failed to deliver this latest package and their office is closed from December 29 to January 5, so no pick up until late next week. What a strange way to run a "delivery" service. I've tried to register a complaint with DHL through their 1-800 number but looking at long list of 1 stars here, I'm doubtful it will make any difference. It's too bad... in other places DHL is great. It's just the people at this local office who give the company a bad name.
