K	Kevin Archer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is magical. When you arrive, the dogs bark and greet you, then you are accepted and guarded. There are horses, llamas, chickens, cows, sheep, donkeys, etc. The lovely host/owner Silvia greets you and once you settle into your log cabin, it's so beautifully silent and you can breath, just breath. 6 cabins set apart just enough for privacy. There are 2 bbq pits if you want a fire into the night. (there's plenty of firewood by the garden). If it's a clear sky it's a very starry night. The complimentary breakfast is at the large house, and you can have breakfast with the other guests. If you need space to think/breath/write/read/do nothing, then this is the place. There is free wifi and toiletries and towels, so you can literally leave the office and go straight here. Also, before you arrive, in the same driveway on your first left, there is a pottery place called the Urban Forest Design, look to it for my review.

The cabins were spotless, very well maintained, Sylvia is the kindest host imaginable, the breakfasts were impeccable and the animals were well taken care of. It was a perfect getaway, not overly far from the city! Would definitely return.
T	T S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot rave enough about this place. It's in the most beautiful location and just isolated enough to feel like a real escape. Sylvia was the most friendly and amazing host, and along with her assistant Marc, was happy to teach us about the work they do on the farm. The cabins are rustic and comfortable and the breakfast they serve is beyond anything I've been served at an accommodation before. It was fun to feed the animals and just relax. When you arrive, keep in mind that they have a few (friendly!) dogs that run around you for anyone who might not find that as enjoyable as we did. Definitely planning on coming here again.

The hospitality, accommodation and everything was above and beyond expectations. Thanks friend for recommending this place for me. Definitely will be regulars there :)

After feeding the friendly pony, horse and donkeys in the corrall beyond our deck, we settled in for a restful sleep. In the morning our extremely friendly host cooked us an excellent breakfast and shared some of the ins and outs of local ranching. For relaxation and value I would highly recommend the Lone Pine!
S	Shelly Hauk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle. My daughter and 22 month granddaughter went this weekend and it was amazing. Firstly, Sylvia is the best. She is accommodating to help you with anything you might need. She is also an amazing cook. We had dinner and breakfast in the Wolf Den with her and the other guests and staff members. The food is all home made and most of the ingredients are from her garden. Delicious. Her exchange students and Mark and his wife are also such a pleasure to be around. Everyone is very happy and willing to give you a chance to interact with the animals. The cabins are very clean and spacious. We had a playpen and still had plenty of room. There are fire pits right out front of the cabins which is super handy. I would give Lone Pine Ranch more than 5 stars!

Incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms are rustic but perfect and very cleanly. Supper is always enjoyable company with others staying at the ranch, and the food is plentiful and delicious. Breakfast is fantastic. Will stay here every year. Prices are reasonable and service is fantastic.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the cabin was delightfully decorated. I woke up to the sweetest group of horses, donkeys, and cows who came in straight for cuddles! I then had breakfast with our host comprised of real homemade organic food! The chatter was special and comforting. A must stay!
