I toured this facility with a friend who is also an ECE. The staff working there seemed uninterested in the children (talking to each other over in the corner) while children climbed on top of a small table and jumped off. I felt embarrassed for the people who run this facility when my friend, who doesn't even work there, had to guide the children by telling them not to climb on top of furniture for safety reasons, and then engaged them with a song and dance. I only considered this child care centre because of the location, but after seeing the quality of childcare offered by the staff, I quickly realized I was better off travelling a farther distance. The feeling I got from this tour was more of a teenage babysitter vibe than a professional, educational establishment.
