★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great menu and service. Our waitress was super friendly and had great recommendations. She went above and beyond too by brining us the meal pre-separated as she knew we were sharing. Food was delicious and the cocktails were good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had a chance to visit Local Public Eatery and I have to say I had a great time. I'll start by mentioning that the servers where really friendly and very attentive. At one time they even brought shots of Fireball to the table. This was good but it started our group on a lot more drinking than I originally had intended (likely the point of the shots.) The food was decent and was prepared quickly. I was worried when the Barley Mill changed as I had really liked the old place. But Local is definitely a worthy replacement. I'll for sure be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in and were greeted by a host of friendly staff and an excellent atmosphere! The food was pretty good, we took advantage of the brunch menu and were all quite surprised! We will definitely be returning! It was comfort food to the max.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a Christmas get together, their Christmas food and drinks were great. Our server was friendly and helpful, thank you Elaine! Only reason for 4 star is the music was really loud. I understand it was a Friday night but I couldn't even hear the people sitting right beside me without them raising their voices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoy this location. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the location can’t be beat. They have a nice happy hour with some drinks and food. They also have some nice brunch items as well.
They also have a separate room upstairs, which looks like it might be available for rent for private events.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing new Local location in the heart of Eau Claire. The space was transformed from the previously owned, very dated pub into a super clean, modern bar. Plenary of seating with options from tables to bar top and even upper and lower patio over looking foot traffic below. Staff was super friendly and very welcoming. Service was pleasant and attentive. As always good was really delicious with a menu that has something for everyone. Overall, very impressed with what Local has done here and will definitely be back. Happy specials are available.
