The food was wonderful, from the falafel sandwich (got my best food vote), to the bagels, to the chocolate. Everything was yummy!! I highly recommend this tour and you'll be lucky to get Fran as a guide.
A	Allison Bogisich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Françoise was our local guide for this tour and she was lovely- had a great time and truly enjoyed both the food we sampled and the historical/cultural facts about the neighborhood that she shared as we walked from place to place. Our favorite stops were the sesame bagels at St-Viateur Bagel and the gnocchi at Drogheria Fine. Both me and my partner were happily full by the end of the tour, but we didn't even fully clear our plates at each stop.

The neighborhood and architecture was interesting and charming, the food was delicious and our tour guide was fantastic! Francoise was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhood, the history, the culture and of course the food! She encouraged us to participate by asking questions and was considerate by providing hand and foot warmers on a chilly day. We went away with full bellies and a greater understanding and appreciation for the city of Montreal. Thank you so much, Francoise for making it such a memorable and fun experience!

Our taxi was late, so we missed our 11:00 tour, but Chantal welcomed us into her group instead and graciously accommodated us! This was one of the best food tours I have been on. The food was delicious, and the quaint, artistic Mile End Neighborhood is a must see. Highly recommend this tour!

I highly recommend this walking tour (even in the snow) but my advice is to pick a nice day or dress for the weather because many of the stops are outside. That said, the tour was phenomenal. Great for those visiting Montreal, and great also for Montreal natives who want to learn a little more about the beautiful city they call home - you are guaranteed to walk away with a whole bunch of interesting trivia and knowledge! Laura was knowledgeable and personable and funny. The food we tasted was top-tier classic Montreal, the best of the best. Come with an empty stomach!

Every stop on the tour really felt authentic and the order of the stops felt carefully crafted. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Anyways, she was knowledgeable about the food, the neighborhood and always answered our questions. I love the fact that we talked about the architecture of the houses which Montreal is famous for and the history of mile end. And the food was amazing! They didn't skimp on the amount you are given. So better make sure not to eat any breakfast and wear comfy pants that can stretch. If you love food , history and walking as a way to explore a new city, this is it.
