★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and professional. Deep scalp massage at the shampoo and conditioning station. Nice background music or movies to help pass the time. I like that if I want to talk my stylist is up for a good conversation and if I want to sit in silence, that's also acceptable with no awkward prying.
My teenage daughter loves the versatility of a talented and knowledgeable stylist who hooks up a variety of neat and tight natural styles from canerows to box braids that snatch and lay every hair with minimal to no pain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to get my dreads interlocked, the hairdresser who did it (Sondra was her name) was rude as soon as I entered. 30 minutes into her doing my hair she answered a phone call and was blatantly talking to the person poorly about me. Furthermore she asked me what shampoo I use and when I answered she told me it's, and I quote "white people shampoo" eventhough it's made for natural hair. She then decided to diagnose me with eczema which I positively do not have. Lastly she threw away one of my dreads that I had asked her to reattach. She was highly unprofessional and rude from beginning to end.
I would not reccomend and I will not be returning.

Not only was the the lady who did my hair was really nice and professional (sorry for not remembering your name), but I was amazed with how quick she was able to get my locs interloced neat within a couple hours, cuz honestly, my hair was a mess!!! I'm glad there is a salon the specializes in locs that isn't too far since there wasn't any salon with that specialty in my area. Overall, I had a great experience at Loc n' Twist, and I'll most likely return there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello, I came in for an appointment and I was very excited however the owner does not wear a mask so for anyone who is mindful of covid and is trying to stay safe this place is not it. Regardless of your beliefs you are a owner and come into contact with people everyday you should think about how your clients feel and their safety when the come in to your establishment

She is soooo knowledgeable about natural hair and whole body wellness. When I came to her I had thin breaking hair now I have full thick beautiful locs!!!
I told her my dream hair and she delivered! I know LOVE my hair!
